Just endured about an hour of the gladiators. Peaky arguing like a petulent schoolboy re. World Cup coming here.! Gee there are some insular types out there. Peaky waffling on about infrastructure and millions of tourists coming here being insufficient and how awful that the AFL season will be stopped! Perish the thought that we'd have to stop a domestic sport for the biggest sporting event PeakyPeaky is sounding more and more like a knuckle dragging neandathal

Couldn't stand another week with Brownless in the chair on MG so made the switch over this morning to Sport927.

Its surprisingly good.

Isn't over-run with ads, discuss subjects fairly extensively and they don't treat their audience like idiots.

May even stick with it for a while.

Ridiculous isn't it. Reading the thread in the main forum is driving me nuts too.

We happily dub ourselves the Sporting Capital yet the biggest sporting event on our shores is not wanted because it interupts one domestic season.

Enjoyed Finey's show last night with Steve from BUSA.

I thought the racing on Friday nights worked well too. Not sure who the race caller was but he was very good and had a bit of banter with Finey and Steve pre and post race.

There was a funny caller yesterday who said to Francis that: "Matt Thompson can't say any sentence without using the word 'massive' or 'intrguing', even when he's reading the weather."



The other day, right after Paul Roos made his 'calm comments' about drafting older kids, Thompson said in his sports update: "Paul Roos has lashed out at the AFL's drafting age." Lashed out? Gimme a break
