Enjoyed Finey's show last night with Steve from BUSA.

I thought the racing on Friday nights worked well too. Not sure who the race caller was but he was very good and had a bit of banter with Finey and Steve pre and post race.

It wasn't the kid that featured on their promos last week, calling the Cox Plate whilst going through puberty?

"So You Think. WOW!" in a breaking voice that reminds you of the teenagers in The Simpsons.

who's the lass on sunday mornings with richo and turfy? think her name's sarah?
said she was nervous reading out the overnight scores. i thought nervous was being generous...had trouble reading out the spanish league scores (ok fair enough if not familiar), but also had issues with the EPL. not so much with names but.....

i.e. chelsea 4 defeated bolton "too" (as in also not the number). had to check the scores online to see if it was 4-2!

Such a shame that Born In the USA has ended.

Am really going to miss listening to those guys.

Thoroughly enjoyed last nights BUSA (as usual)...such a pity its the last one...

Steve, if you are reading this, will you pop in here from time to time to say hello?....would love to hear of your ventures back home etc...

Best of luck to you and yours:)

Unfortunately didn't hear much of the show. [reception at work is crap] I enjoyed the show because as stated previously was something completely different for the station. Some broadcasters here should take a listen to the excellent baseball commentary on the world series. The yanks have it all over us in the sports broadcasting stakes:thumbsu:

Latest radio ratings:

http://au.nielsen.com/products/documents/MelbourneSurvey6-2009.pdf

SEN dropped from a 4.5% share to 3.8%, which is pretty bad when the period covered 28 June to 5 September.

The breakdown:

Morning Glory: 3.6
Hungry for Sport: 3.9
Forget the name of Doran's show: 3.7
Run Home: 5.0
Finey: 3.7

Bet they'll take a hit in the next survey with AFL over.

morning glory cannot last much longer in it's current format with ratings like this.

Just put KB on for all morning with his ol' partner Dr Turf. That would surely see an increase in listeners.

Getting damn tired of PC clowns like Maher and Snoran and just clowns like Brownless who's form of late has been very ordinary.

Eddie's new show neck and neck with MG. He's pulling in 3.7s.

Couldn't happen to a nicer bloke.
