I never thought I'd say this, but I think I miss Finey. BP does a serviceable job, and he seems knowledgeable, but he's a bit white bread, while Finey is crazy, which I like.

Monday nights at midnight for an hour, might have been 2, but I could never listen....god they grated on my nerves....5mins did me in, that was enough..

Can't believe they replaced the GBU crew with that endless catchphrase, "footynews, xxxx.com.au".
AFL media isn't very original, it's usually the same three stories over and over again each day. This is just another programme following the crowd.

It's not that it's a whole 4 hours out of 176, it's that it's 4 separate weeknight timeslots. I'd rather they do Monday and Thursday nights 10-12 or 11-12. Don't get me wrong, I love soccer, always have, but I love all sports, and I'd rather not have to listen to soccer every single weeknight at 11pm.

Can't remember what day it was, but I heard Nathan Thompson going on a rant about how the AFL shouldn't change the top 8 to top 9/10 when the new teams come in because the AFL isn't about increasing revenue.

Please no Poor Richmond I grew up around 1980 and vividly recall how feral and unforgiving their fans were. Brett took on a Finey persona last night,didn't agree with his notion of fans ripping up their memberships
Poor Nathan coped the wrath of our favourite Bonny Scot Jimmy from Hawthorn. He had tempted fate by saying the Hawks wont make the Eight,in which Jimmy got his kilt in a knot and nearly had Heart Failure on radio. Just out of interest does that Pickle Steve from Mitcham post here

Funny to hear KB struggling, scrambling, and reaching (only 19 points down at H/T) to save his skin on his Tigers yet again.
He's been using the old "no one will remember my prediction if I'm wrong" technique that is a favourite of many. Classic examples are "Spider" Everett's Essendon out of the 2000 final series in straight sets prediction, on the Footy Show (called on the spot by Eddie) and Fev trying the same stunt on the Cats in 2007.
Epic Fails, both.
Last year KB was extremely confident that the Tigers would win the opener against the Blues by 5 goals. A now seemingly forgotten 113 point prediction error by the former Tiger champ.
And yet he was back for more this year.
Thank heavens there was no Judd or Fevola last night.
On Richmond F.C., KB is an L.C.: Loose Cannon!
