That was the best Morning Glory I have heard since the good old days when Billy ruled the roost. 
Great combo Huddo, Derm and Watson as the 3rd not being so prominent. What a great way to start the day and not have to put up with the know Maher.

No. You can talk about him, but not have a good crack at him. Their wasnt many who got through to bag him, and those who did, didnt last long. One bloke they just "faded" out his rant as he was going.

That wasn't a rant though if its the caller I'm thinking of.
It was just pure abuse and hatred. Bloke sounded like a nutter and deserved to be cut off.
Everyone who has been on SEN has criticised Waldron where appropriate.
They also have to be careful as he hasn't been formally charged with anything yet and if they go too far they could be up for defamation.

Whilst it was great not having to listen to Maher it's unfortunate about the circumstances. Best of luck to him and his family.

But on the show this morning, it was excellent. Having those 3 together worked very well. Hudson is a very good operator and Dermie and him bounce well off each other.

Several talkback callers had differing opinions, as did Grunk, while KB maintained his predicated thought on the unintended consequences of having the team play out a season with nothing on the line for the team or its fans.
Then came caller, David from Caulfield:
DFC: Yeah, KB, when Brian Waldron was on you asked him if he was interested in Willie Mason and his answer was ‘we can’t fit him in the salary cap’-
KB: Correct
DFC: I mean Brian Waldron is just a selfish, lying, cheating…[faded out]
KB: AH, well, he’s got some, ah, answers to give. He did say to my producer that he would speak to Hungry For Sport next week, but he has lost his job as the CEO of the Melbourne Rebels today. And as I said in “My Take,” those responsible will pay a huge personal price and reputations will be destroyed
Then Andrew Demetriou was on:
Not looking at St. Kilda’s books … wouldn’t be surprised if Ken Wood did make some enquiries just to get comfort … AFL has very stringent process and would’ve already taken action … doesn’t think AFL club could to a Storm because of a) checks and balances, b) more resources in investigating, c) systematic checking on regular basis, d) power to call on various records, and pursue many areas, e) post-Carlton, all clubs on notice to the consequences of cap cheating, f) many things outside the cap that allow flexibility to pay players and bring once-under-the-table payments above the table: third-party agreements, travel and veteran allowances.
People outraged at betrayal and trust offends people … supporters pay price … wouldn’t hesitate in taking away AFL flags if he found cheating … lauded Gallop for protecting integrity of code.
Then Michael Nettlefold from St. Kilda:
AFL is thorough in examining accounts … impossible to do something not within the regime … welcome AFL to inspect anything at Saints in relation to old accounts … doesn’t know anything about “Spider” Everett-Ken Wood interest reported by Caroline Wilson … no concerns at St. Kilda, "we just move on."
AFL,and/or round 5 doesn’t cop a mention at all in first hour after lots of constructive opinions and assessments from callers with the exception of the pinhead who posed a question about Willie Mason then threw epithets about Waldron and then rightfully got the boot from the program.
After 10am with Balmey is more Storm and League … Podsiadly won’t have to go back to rookie list if Cats’ players get healthy and can work salary cap after round 11 due to rule change that allows one rookie to be elevated to senior list … Balmey not overly happy with KB pushing on Ablett Jnr, Selwood, compensation, GC17 discussion … then KB brings Mark-oh Allen in as an interchange, “impact” player off the bench to replace Wally … I think it’s all over for the Melbourne Storm says Mark-oh … “[Waldron] is a great friend of the station” …”it’s like a morgue outside,” says the man of radio bogies … KB solemnly now more convinced Storm will not survive…Balmey not definitive on anything as usual.
KB goes to Ray Warren interview for Sydney rugby heartland perspective … without News Limited-type sponsor a team in Melbourne will struggle to survive … Allen queries “free hit” for Union’s Rebels in Victorian market … Warren goes in-depth with criminal issue due to possible fraudulent misappropriation or civil issues as well, and also players’ rights …possible player moves before June 30 … agrees with KB on pointlessness of playing season out for nothing but pride. And finally - both agree on opinion of Tommy Raudonikis.

A drunk Cats supporter rang in having a go at Lloyd for saying during Cats/Bombers? game that Cats are no good, won't make the finals etc..and that ex-players shouldn't be commentating blah blah..
Finey let him have his say, then said that as Lloyd was new to commentating he is bound to make a few mistakes and to cut him some slack...........I agree with Finey, and the bloke was a real drongo..

Yes, the news service is really terrible now....last sunday night, the 10 + 11pm news was all about stuff happening in Sydney, not one mention of anything victorian....wonder if thats going to be a weekend thing..
