Great ratings for SEN in latest survey.

Drive and Finey are killing them with a 5.5 and 5.1 share respectively.

Only concern would be Breakfast which managed to fall despite all other timeslots maintaining. Personally, I think MG has really tightened up in the last few months and is a much better show but it is facing increased competition from Eddie and MTR which may be drawing some listeners away.

But the really good news is in the demos. Have a 6.2 share in the 40-54 bracket and 5.3 in the 25-39 bracket. These are the demos that advertisers love and the station heavyweights must be extremely happy with those results.

im back on MG after flirting with MMM. cant stand eddie sometimes, especially when collingwoods involved.

but at 9 i flick to MTR for some steve price-sam newman. they have great chemistry and get srs when need be. sam offers some valid points on a variety of topics.

Am working on getting either a live show (likely Friday afternoons) or downloadable podcast rolling in the next few weeks. Same type of stuff

SEN did very well in the footy ratings, particularly on Sundays, where they almost equalled Triple M. However, this is more due to Triple M's slide than SEN's climb

with the footy ratings, BT joining 3AW seems to be the catalyst.

His name is Harrison Plebe or something. More like Harrison Pleb. He messes up nearly every suburb and name. Tonight he badly stuffed up Shaun Borgoyne and again St Olbans. He struggles badly with vowels.

Pleb seems been doing a better job of the news lately. He’s making a lot less mistakes. He sounds like a young guy so I reckon he’s doing okay.

I’m no expert but, he’s probably from suburban NSW or a far North Qlder by the sound of those vowels...No wonder he can't pronounce AFL players names.

You have the give Macquarie credit, it’s good to see they’re giving young people a go and it’s good to a hear a male newsreader for once. There’s too many young female journo and old farts on 3AW in my opinion.
