Yeah I heard that too when a caller rang in saying he played cricket there.

I'm former student there, and there are some that slip through into the school. Usually they're good at sports. Cameron Bruce was a former student but he got an ENTER around Judd's or higher.

Yeah I vaguely remember them. Terrible.

Parko's (along with Scotty Cooney I think?) coverage of the World Cup bid the other night was fantastic. Really enjoyed it all the way up to 6am.

Peakey is good comical value, but imo doesn't offer a lot in terms of the actual analysis of Sport (bar AFL).

Howard Lee doesn't offer a lot.

Matty Spider Lee is garbage. The other night he was blaming Watson for the runout of Katich. I mean...did he even see it? Clearly a run there as Parko pointed out last night. Katich was caught ball watching.

A-Rod's...weird. haha

Cam Luke's pretty good.

Christian Argenti was the best though.

it's a play on the demetriou thing for reading out his name during the brownlow votes, long pause and all.

listened to MG for the first time in a while this morning, same shit different day. they haven't changed a bit. andrew gaze is a pain in the arse and actually outdoes radar in the overthetop stakes.
i'll try again in a few months:rolleyes:
 
Was anyone listening to the All Night Appetite this morning and hear the first edition of A-Rod's segment 'Name Droppers', it got quite a good response with callers and sms's.

All Night Appetite is really starting to get a good following in my opinion and all the guys seem to get along well with each other.

Yeah did catch that before nodding off. Some pretty good name drops and a couple of shockers. Eg. Big Brother contestants

How's when Peakey and Howard start talking crap (Howard taking everything literally) - the most trivial of matters they will do to death. It's pretty funny but it can get kinda annoying.
 
The only funny segment on the Hutchy and Pickers show is the bloopers of the week.

Loved Finey's quiz...

n thompson when interviewing justin langer asked about the "hysteria" and "carry on" in the media re: australias form and selection. from the tone of the question it seemed like thommo believes the criticism is unwarranted. i wonder what he'd say if rod hogg was in the studio. im sure his tone would change to "what are the selectors doing?????"

I reckon it's not just America; he bangs on a bit about many other countries, coz he likes to let us all know he's a well-travelled, wordly man. :D He's one of those guys who, when any third world location is mentioned (not that America is third world), he comes out with the old: "ah, have you ever been there? Well, I have, and let me tell you you've got no idea how lucky we are here."

And what's his 'obsession' with calling himself "Fraarncis", in the la di da, British way? :p His name is 'Franncis', with a 'hard' 'a'. :p Get over yaself, buddy. :D

However, having said that, I don't mind him at all, coz at least he can speak -- which can't be said for all of SEN's presenters -- and he sticks up for bike riders. :D
