C'mon SJ, you can't defend him. IIRC, I've read a post of yours where you stated you cringe when motorsport is talked about on SEN or something like that, it's so bad. When you're the token representative of a sport on this station in particular, you've got to be an encyclopaedia, or at least have motorsport for dummies type knowledge. Compare him to two others that are thought of as spanners as well, Mark Allen and Jason Richardson. I'm not convinced Mark Allen is taken seriously amongst "senior" figures in the golfing community, but if I asked him a question of low/medium difficulty...

Wouldn't have a clue! They are two easyish questions that would give people, who otherwise wouldn't know, some insight. I'm not expecting him to be a Matt Keenan of motorsport but, as a listener, 75% Matt Keenan will do, that goes with all sports. If you think he's deliberately dumbing it down, he's doing an outstanding job! Just in case anybody wonders, what is now known as V8 Supercars started in '93 and the Williams-Renault FW14B/15C is the best racing car of all time...so far.

Motorsport though is substantially more than just V8 Supercar Racing. You'd have to have some knowledge of F1, MotoGP etc, but also an advantage of categories like Superbikes and even junior formulae would help.

Funnily enough I was aware of that. My point was that the guy attends every race of an FIA sanctioned international racing category, he must pick up a thing or two.

What are you talking about royboy? The FW14B/15C is the best racing car ever built...so far. Saying the MP4/4 is the best is like saying Neptune is the biggest planet in the Solar System. The MP4/4 is just a product of Mclaren and Honda taking advantage of a period of transition with the rules. The FW14B/15C is a product of Williams mastering, the extremely complex, active suspension technology. This forced an unncessary change of rules which has an effect to this day! The MP4/4 wouldn't even be the second best car...step forward Lotus 79.

Who are you to talk? You're the worst poster on this thread. All you do is just write a thought that comes into your "head" with no clarification...nothing. I respond/state to a number of topics on the station, sometimes in detail, to a number of other posters. Having bothered to read over the thread again, starting from page 36, going backwards, here's some analysis...

What I've recently done.

- A post backing up Collingwood 4 eternity's praise of Nathan Thompson's interview with Cam Mooney.
- A detailed response to Simple Jack's disagreement of opinion about Schibeci.
- A clarification of Schibeci's motorsport crediblity to Registered User
- An opinion of Smokey Dawson presence on the station, responding to RU and peternorth.
- 2 exchanges with Mentallo about a commercial on the station.
- Backing up Flameboy's dissatisfaction with Schibeci, but also gave a positve opinon on one of the hours he was hosting.

Let's compare that with your "contributions"...

- A subtle crack at Schibeci.
- A subtle crack a motorsport.
- Another crack at Schibeci, responding to SJ.
- Another, this time blatant, crack at Schibeci.
- A response to MYOB, agreeing with a positive opinion about Finey and/or a crack at Wayne from Geelong.
- A blatant crack at Matt Thompson.
- Another crack at Schibeci.

Let's have this thread just be a "bedford whinge about SEN thread" instead? All single line c*** that either goes nowhere or is just a troll.
