Howard Leigh just riles Peaky up half the time. (I think he deliberately makes nonsensical arguments to oppose/fire up Peaky?)Have often wondered just why Howard Lee is on GoS....he adds very very little to the overall show, and hardly has anything to say...and sounds disinterested most times..
On the other hand, I think the other Howard (Kotter?) and SJP work really well together on Selection Dissection with Finey....this Howard isn't frightened to have his say in a conversation and is a genuine contributor to the show..
SJP is a classic!!..his weird and wacky ways are just...well, just so unbelievable, that it is compulsary listening!!....indescribable actually!!

Jee, I like Mark Allen. He may not be an encyclopedia of sport, but he's got a sense of humour and ain't scared to say what he thinks. I'd like him to get the arvo spot.

Mark Allen has too much of a cushy lifestyle to allow himself be restrained by doing TRH for the whole year, a week here or there, fine, but the whole year? Plus, I think it'd be a boring choice since he's on the station six hours a day anyway. A fresh personality I think would be best.
Also, without coming across as a spanner, I'll actually be disappointed if Sam Pang doesn't get the gig now (I have a feeling I will be). In fact since Francis is leaving, if I were part of management, taking into account something I'm unaware of, I'd be tempted turfing off Ox to another role in the station if I could find a better personality or match-up, even a more recently retired player. I don't know, just sayin...

Something a bit different perhaps.....why not split the job between 2 personalities...
..say, Dr Turf 2 days....Mark Allen 3 days (example only) or vica versa.....you get the idea, something along those lines....that way, it might please a few more people..

I wouldn't be surprised if they move Mark Fine from evenings to the more high profile drive slot. He's been with the station since the beginning and has built up a good profile.
If Mark Fine is moved to drive, Sam Pang would be great replacement in evenings, even someone like Tony Wilson would be good too. However, I have a feeling they might promote from within, and go for a Brett Phillips / Tony Schibecci type.

I also like Marko, but would he get along, for a few hours each night, with Ox?....not sure everyone will...SEN will need to be careful who they pair up for the show if it is to continue the success it has had so far..

Incidentally I'm not minding Harford on TMG this week so far, probably because Maher is so bad he makes anyone look good.
Finey would be better than Allen for sure.

I think Harford works better when he has someone working with him. They could possibly have him alongside the Ox and have Schembeci or BP hosting the 12-4 slot. I'm still a fan of Turfy and Finey (in fact they are 2 of my 3 favourite SEN personalities along with KB), I just think that with the additional programs they have they may sound predictable and people would be tired of them after a week or two.

Steve's 'tinfoil' hat paranoia towards Dermie is amusing, especially as Dermie always gets reeled in.

I like him as a relief host.
His stumbling through interviews is gold. Especially when he tries to make a joke with the interviewee and they don't get it, it happens heaps.
