He should've been given a prize instead! Since Doran "left" Denham is equal 1st, along with Rita Panahi, that I hate of all of those who have a regular gig at SEN. With Walls, if he's definitely joining SEN, I have a feeling he might step-up, don't know why, just do.

I forgot about him, don't worry, I'm on that wagon as well, Haven't noticed him as much as I used to though. With the other two, I mean, SEN have to try really, really hard to lose me (or the ABC have to do something super-duper awesome), but 9-10 thurs/fri 12-2 fri it's an easy choice. I'd much rather listen to John Faine be the haughty, patronsing clown that he is than listen to Denham dribble.

Denham is the archetype, idiot footy journo everyone hates. Regardless of their weaknesses, Smith has been funny sometimes, and amazingly, Ralph can come across as good bloke! What redeeming feature does Denham have? Do I have to say anything about Panahi?...I like Rohan Connelly as a footy journo, but, how desperate must he have been to get that pregnant? (Correct me if I'm wrong, as far as I'm aware, he did)

I was listening today when rita had her " whats up " segment
It basically was getting stuck into big footy. How 16 year olds get on here makin up bs trades .

Its funny because she seems to always know everything, feel sorry 4 the poor bloke who has to put up with her everyday.

Mario the so called Richmond supporter.
He rang 3aw at 6:17 sports today with Kingy and Tim Lane going on about the same thing.

If you listen to his voice it sounds like he is putting on the disgruntled Richmond supporter so he can get on a station promo ( I think this is the same guy who said that he melted his Richmond membership cards ?)

Bit like serial disgruntled St Kilda talkback agitator , Mark from Sth Melbourne ( when he doesn't use an alias) who rang Francis and Ox and Sports today last week, spruking for 100 people to follow his , "fix the issues at St Kilda" , twitter page called , Our new Saints.

So far it only has 2 followers

3aw sports today is available on iTunes as a full show no adds podcast , If you want past shows.

Its funny hearing the same voices calling up the two stations , but they call up using aliases.

Sen its Spiro from Springvale the Carlton supporter and 3aw he becomes Mario from Carlton.

Dave from Melton Collingwood supporter on sen becomes Pete from Coburg on 3aw

Jim from Hawthorn on sen is Jim from Hawthorn on 3aw is Jim from Hawthorn on triple m etc. :D

One regular caller a guy with a really deep throaty voice rang up 3aw with a different name twice on the same night a few weeks ago , and Dwayne called him out on it. It was for their weekend tipping call up comp called "who are you nailed to" ( your dead cert sporting winner over the coming weekend) most accurate wins the prize on offer , this guy got to air twice within half a dozen calls , he must have rung up on 2 separate phone at the same time :rolleyes:
Tonight he called them up at 6:15 bagging their bias to footy at the start of the show , then at 7:15 he rings them up praising their OB from the motorcycle gp on Sunday :eek:

I think both Francis Leech and Darren Parkin have caught on to saints fan Mark from Sth Melbourne and his aliasis and constant carping of the saints (was even doing it when they were 19 straight in 2009) , that parko even cut him off early in one morning last year because he was bagging out the team on the way to their second GF in a row.

how about a week - even a day - of giving your ideas, how you'd do it better. i'd love to read that.
you all talk like you're savvy when it comes to putting together a sports radio station.
what are your commercial interests - how would you make sponsors happy? do you know what goes on, what they ask for?

put your thinking caps on. become positive. you become the PD at sen. what do you do?
god, how i wish there was some positive stuff on this forum.

and before it becomes a slanging match....i read this forum once a fortnight, sometimes less. sometimes i become so disgusted by the same old voices screaming the same old negative things i go away for months.

why do i read it? there used to be some guy who put up transcripts of conversations dr turf had on air with kb. i liked those. and, because i don't always get to listen to stephen j peak, i like to catch up on what he's been doing.

Yeah look Blackmug I'd still just insist that the people reading out the newspaper articles from the sports section on all night appetite are able to read properly. It's embarrassing hearing them stumble over 5 letter words. Tell your boss.
