...yep, jason akermanis is coming off with scotty west. aker's the leader in the clubhouse at the moment....


SEN are pumping up dermie in their ads for the footy coverage. i think one of his speels took 2 minutes - it was about what footy means. in a nutshell he could've just said "you can tell a lot about a person in the way he plays footy", instead of going around in circles again and again.

Still, it's better he mentions the name than on shows like 9am with David and Kim, which I watched a few weeks back. I tuned in to an interview a quarter of the way through wondering "Who's this, who are they speaking to?" and they didn't mention his name once. Fair enough I thought, they'll tell me at the end of the interview...but no. WHO THE ******** WAS IT?

i have a love/hate relationship with mark allen sometimes he comes across as your typical yuppie golfer and then on spotlight with pickers they both take the piss out of each other and its just a quality show

Let's hope it's an improvement on their soccer commentary. Every time Victory score a goal, all the commentators do is scream out "goal" or "yeah" or some other inciteful piece of drivel.

What they never tell you is :-

• Who scored it.
• How far out the goal was scored from.
• Which corner/side the ball went in.
• Anything else that might give you a clue about what just happened!

someone needs to tell the commentators to stop saying D-fence. Its not that hard to do.

we know trimmers and zappas are passionate fans etc, but yes i agree with you. having said that we should cut them some slack as its only 2 years in.

to improve they need to listen and note how the brits commentate on the epl. they dont call every pass, only the pertinant stuff.

maybe if you listen to the full coverage instead of the 10 sec promos sen show all week you will understand
