Love SEN and majority of their personalities..never listen to any other station. Morning Glory + Run Home great listening..only catch bits and pieces of day shows due to work....Beva and Finey good together, but have noticed Finey getting bit aggro on his own shows after the footy if callers disagree with him....I dont know anything about american sports but listen anyway 'cos they make it all sound interesting even to a novice..they are great!.... Brett Phillips is definately the best host after midnite...he sounds enthusiastic and sounds genuinely interested in the people he is talking to or interviewing... I could go on but.....thumbs up to SEN!!

AGREE

also think the whole setup of the show works very well including the way they have des dowling sort of hosting with the other two lunatics but they are great!

I have listened to Billy a few times. He doesnt make any sense:D He was talking up Richmond all year so far but last Friday morning he got off the bandwagon

Has anyone listened to Christen, he rings days and nights, has a very strange voice

yeh its a nice setup with a host to keep it running and then jack and keka which is quality

good to see sen coming with something new to the table instead of quizzes and talkback 24/7

matt thompson annoys the hell out of me!

Thank God someone agrees with me. I can't stand the guy's put on voice. Every damn sports report he does sounds like he is reporting on the scene at 9/11.

His comment of "collateral damage" in the aftermath of the ANZAC Day clash was in poor taste.

****er:thumbsd:

For a number of reasons I spent the weekend listening to SEN over the Internet. Mainly as the wife was away:D . I just can't make up my mind if there is too much AFL on there or not. When the overnight shows were on and they were talking AFL I was starting to think it was too much but then when they had other shows on like 'on the grid' not being a racing person I wanted the AFL talk back on. It must be a nightmare of a station to do programming for as I don't even know what I want to listen too.

Still I wish it was still going over here.

Listened to MG this morning, and was a very good show. Not one mention of froffies or sexual innuendos, lots of content and opinions.

Also Buckley is great on the run home, has all the tools to be either a great media performer, or coach.

Mark Franklin got called Buddy Franklin, Luke Mather, could have the nickname Luke Mather force be with you.

Have NEVER been a fan of Nathan Buckley as a footballer....but on the radio he has been a huge surprise..look forward to hearing him with the boys on the "Run Home"...also Martin Pike with Beva....they talk straight forward and common sense... Grant Thomas has also been a real find for the station...and Huddo is just Huddo..cute!..seriously tho, he is a professional at what he does.

It is a rare occasion that they can get through the show without an innuendo or mention of beers.....but how about that ad? "They love to handle your package." Who writes that stuff? Is it me or does that sound slightly risque?

hey people ..lighten up!! you are starting to sound like real "stuffed shirts" its meant to be light hearted (tho not stupid) at times..informative and yes, sometimes even risque!...where's your sense of humour?? As a female i have yet to be offended by anything Billy or anyone else on the station has said...stop with all the negative talk..if you dont like SEN, perhaps you need to be listening Neil Mitchell or Ernie Sigley..now theres a duo!! Cheers :)

I've listened to SEN from the start, and Billy is one of the veterans - he's hilarious. He loves the phrase "put a bucket over his head" for some reason... Always good for a laugh that guy.

i cant belive the liverpool chelsea penalty shootout was starting ,so what do they do?go to a commercail break and tell us whats happened 5 mins later?nothing to do with being an afl station now is it?

I didn't hear that as I flicked SEN off to watch the penalty shootout, but it was similar in a way this morning.

Billy and Andy were talking about the Man Utd-AC Milan game and discussing something that just happened in the game (a goal I think), and Tim cuts them off and goes "Anyway onto what's in the papers and the AFL..."

He just couldn't stand not talking about his beloved AFL for 2 mins. Bloody disgraceful.

AFLN is alive and well.
SEN is dead.

to be honest Im used to it. when soccer talk is on andy maher does all the talking, and to his credit billy tries to get involved. tim stays out of it, which is fine by me considering he wouldnt have anything constructive to say.

at least they cover some of the game mind you, its better than what we had pre SEN.

billy has at least travelled to parts of the world and experienced a culture different to ours - even the world cup! attitudes change with exposure as many of my mate hated the game until they actually lived in the UK and experienced it.

reasons why tim doesnt like soccer are unknown. but in the end its his choice.

I'm not doubting that, and I don't care that Tim doesn't like the game. What I hate is that he cuts off a coversation about Soccer just to bring the conversation back to AFL.

He could at least have waited until Andy and Billy had finished talking before re-directing the conversation back to the AFL.

Couldn't agree more. He is so one dimensional. He can stomach cricket for a bit, but seems out of his element if not talking footy. They talk about it even when there isn't anything worthwhile to discuss
