Does anyone else ever hear KB chewing over the microphone?

I don't know if it is, he has the mic too close to his mouth, but jesus those inside mouth noises are revolting, I have to turn it off each time I hear it.

It only seems to be him that I notice it with.

You couldn't be more wrong. Huddo does not have the appeal that you speak of and he often brings down the run home. When OX hosts the program with Liam Pickering or Mark Allan it is much more entertaining. The run home's ratings have been nothing to write home about, last time I saw some ratings figures they had only a slight increase on KB & Doran's ratings even though they are in the much better drive time slot.

Wouldn't mind if they had Mark Allan and OX host it permanently as long as they don't turn in to the morning glory with jokes about frothies every 5 mins.

exactly huddo might be professional and all that but its way more entertaining when ox is with pickering or allen because they actually have an opinion, i agree schibecci was awful though

Just thinking for a sports station, they don't have much sport coverage. A lot of discussion that seems to be repeated every week. The AFL will help cover the weekends, and maybe the winter season has more to talk about, but this summer doesn't have much to talk about 24/7.

I'd say most of us who post on this thread are confirmed SEN fans. That doesn't mean that they can't improve in a lot of areas particularly some of their on air talent. Take their breakfast show - its rubbish. I've stopped listening to the station most mornings but I still listen to SEN through out the day more than any other radio station.

good post from sarbbo earlier on i love my sen and hope they do really well thats why i kind of see a lot of area for improvement its not a whinge

other than brereton i reckon the special comments look pretty ordinary. don't think i could listen to billy brownless a couple of games a weekend.

granland and hudson are great callers but bartlett can't commentate for crap.

you are just saying because they have never been on a free to air network special comments or done footy special comments before apart from pickering who did do a little time with MMM.

I think they give great insight especially pickering and schwarz and watson are good as well.. I agree about Billy i don't know about listening to him

its pretty b grade if you ask me

ill still listen to triple m but i reckon sen will do well like when the game is over they will keep talking while the other stations finish their coverage

i think its overkill in regards to schwartz and watson. it's going to be really diificult listening to these two throughout the week then on the weekend as well...Secondly although Schwartz does a reasonable job on the run home his knowledge of players etc is pretty ordinary...watson is the same...it's clear both of them don't do their homework.

I think the picture will become a little clearer once the TV rights thing is finalised, but I think I agree that they are one caller short at the moment.

Tim Lane was on SEN very early on, and would be a good get if they can get him away from the ABC. Quartermain hasn't been re-signed by MMM, and could also be in the picture.

Doran is annoying enough on his afternoon show, not sure if I could stand him calling the footy.

Whatever happens though, SEN should at least enjoy some kind of increase in its ratings.

However, as someone who is currently in a household with one of those ratings diary books, I can tell you that the ratings system is an absolute joke. Ticking a square for every 15 minutes you listen to the radio, and tick where you are listening - ain't the most accurate system.
