harf and ian cohen havent been that bad this week! only thing i can think of is that cohen kept saying that micky conlon was living in "CAREER" not Korea.

the 3 stooges are back next week.
Cohen's a tool. He is as boring as bat shit. He is too busy thinking about how good he sounds than actually concentrating on the content. Harf is surprisingly very good.

bring back damien fleming!!! he was great (back when lyon was there). they used to ask him about his hat trick and hed always say "how long have you got". he didnt get a big head, unlike mark allen.

Agree:thumbsu: He is good talent, would do well in the morning. Any line up would be better than Morning Glory. Don't get how they are still there when SEN's breakfast ratings are the same as their other shows. You look at AW and their breakfast show rates much higher numbers then everyother show on AW.

With SEN Morning Glory has always rated the same as the other shows - a big indictment on the program. Its on prime time and its getting the same ratings as KB, Doran and Beva.

I said I would never post again but news travels fast even to where I am these days but this is my most important post.
SEN has the chance to listen to what we have said many times in this forum and to also give itself a bigger chance of surviving the future.
the ratings still dont match up to what they should be and something needs to happen to kick start where it should be going.

It will hurt someone but either KB or Mark Doran have to be replaced by Craig Hutchison.
Here is the big decision that has to be made and forget loyalty or whatever reason they have kept so much dead wood on but Craig Hutchison is the perfect replacement for what we have been complaining about.
As for Ralphie I remember him saying to a mutual friend that still works at SEN that he knew by going to 3AW at least he would be still working in a few years when many at SEN might not " wonder how he feels now about saying that

Another Strike from rippedoff on SEN.

SEN will lose any listens that they have if Craig "Gossip Queen" Hutchison works there. He is a tool. Cream rise to the top but sh@te also floats

its not about tony being lazy he just doesnt have the knowledge that BP has

brett can talk about pretty much any sport and he will actually talk back to the caller rather than tonys stock standard short answers

I'm not saying Tony is lazy i'm saying that he has been doing Mid-dawn for that bloody long that it would have taken a lot out of him and it would make it difficult for him to keep doing the same mundane thing with the same mundane callers every week.

I prefer Tony he has quite funny at times.

Plus he gets more out of his co-hosts.

Such as the Agigtator and Steven J Peake.

Mark Franklin is just a bit too factual for me.

But surely MN that you don't have to like the guy to love the gossip?

Anti-hero media has always been a big hit - I wonder just how many people that read Andrew Bolt or listen to Alan Jones that think they are complete tools.

Did anyone hear the start of the sen football Friday ?
They had this really well put together recording start with bits of that Theresa crying and coaches and players talking and then it said .....Now On sen football its Melb and Richmond lets head to our team for tonights game as we head to THE TELSTRA DOME.
The fixture has been out for about a year imagine if this had happened at 3aw with all the comments about their football coverage.
Wouldnt more than just a few people been involved in putting the recorded start together so cant believe they would be all that dumb to not say he thats wrong , wonder if asses were kicked as must have been embarrasing for Huddo and boys about to start to hear they were at wrong ground .

listening to SEN at the moment and the live sportsentral that they have on sounds ok..... Nick Holland gives good opinions on football and I think that the show on atm would work well over the summer with plenty of live sport on.... a bit more upbeat then AW for mine....

neone else listening or hear it?

I'm listening atm and its pretty good. Lots of talkback. Would be good if they had a couple of others in the studio, Dutchy knows his stuff but he's a fence sitter. Get someone in there to fire the fans up.:thumbsu:

Switched over to AW - was shit.:thumbsd: They're in trouble if that is the best they can serve up after getting spanked in the ratings.

It wont improve, they still have Rex Hunt....he is the problem ...not Hutchie.....it was bad long before Hutchie got there, and I'm not particularly a fan of his either, but he's been the fall guy, they are not game enough to get rid of Rexxy....SEN for us tho!! :thumbsu:

I think there are a few too many egos in the 3AW box. When I listen, its hard to work out what's going on, cause they are dribbling crap or making funny noises. ABC and SEN let the footballers be the stars, and its obvious a lot of people want it that way. For those who like a bit of colour in the broadcast, looks like they're all listening to MMM.

Listened to SEN from 6-8pm tonight, and there was wall to wall coverage of the Rocca case, fantastic radio. This is when SEN is at its best when it can cover big stories and get non-stop talkback without the pressure of having to go back to 'normal' programming as every other non-sports station has to.

Couldn't agree more. Beats the old days when you used to have to listen to those pea brains Bruce and Phil and wait for a sports update.

...eh, I thought it was over analysing....how long can you honestly talk about whether he lowered his shoulder or how he didnt show Dempster "due care". I'd had enough after 30minutes

I didn't listen, but if they spoke about it for 2 hours then that is definitely over analysing it.

As you said, how long can you talk about the same thing!

One of the things that annoys me is how people bag SEN for talking too much about something. They were getting updates from Matt Thompson every 10 minutes or so which is justified on a tribunal night, but all the callers wanted to discuss the case and give their opinions. It is a talkback station and the on-air guys are going to talk about what the callers want to. If the callers had have called in to talk about something else, they would have talked about something else.
