That a good quiz, but in the last week Finey introduce the "no google quiz" on his quiz, so if Finey suspects you using google to answer the quiz, you are cut of and banned from the quiz for 1 month. Second offence is you are banned for 3 months and the third offence is a life ban on Finey no google quiz.

Finey says he been around long enough to know all the the tricks used and already knows from the past which callers use google. You are allowed to have assistance from other people you have in the room with you such as your mates has often you can hear people in the background

Personally I love it and good work Finey

I haven't heard that, but that is a good idea. Perhaps some of the others should do the same. Every time Finey is on, I reckon he gets better. He has an opinion and lays it out there. However, a few weeks back, some bloke with a stutter rang up, and finey took the piss out of the guy. That was rough.

My god, I've never heard as much umming, ahhing and waffling as I have with Doran today. Painful painful listening. I know I should just change the channels, but there's nothing else to listen to.

He was also talking about Geelong and how they haven't made a Grand Final since 1992...

Sheesh, that's a bit pedantic, Jabso. I had a lecturer at uni who once told that it was far less important to know something than it was to know where to go to find it out. One of the best bits of advice I've ever got.

And that's all that Schibecci seems to be doing in that scenario. Is his response less preferable to a presenter pretending to know what he's talking about?

I don't mind Schibecci actually, but I think it's funny when he doesn't know about something. I probably didn't convey it right, but he does try to pretend he knows what they're talking about.

I think a few of us have been saying what a hidden talent he was becoming unfortunately hidden to those that matter at sen- the decision makers- you have lost a good one there .
Just wish that sen would pay more attention to what we the public are saying when they make their decisions about people.ie eva , shubeci ,bp
Just read this forum sen and you will get an idea about the popular and talented ones that we like instead of getting rid of or ignoring those that we like.
mind you i emailed my thoughts on Rob and Brett Phillips a couple of times and never heard back from sen , has anyone here heard back if you email them about who you think should be on or off the station ,thought it was common courtesy to get a reply but didnt hear anything in response to a lengthy email i sent ?

way to waste some time, have a segment "replay of the day" and scab some airtime of something some other presenters have done because sure as hell doran never has a highlight and also "your views on the news" where you ring in and talk about what happened while schibeci was reading the same news for the 7th time and have doran go "yeah hmmm" "you could have something there".
i won something about 5 weeks ago on his quiz but couldnt bring myself to go in there and pick it up because i was ashamed at ringing in to speak to him. dont mind talking to rita though.

I've emailed Steve Salsbury from Born In The Usa a couple of times and the longest time he took to reply was 2 days, and we've had a few discussions since, very nice bloke.

Did he say what he was doing at ESPN? A producer or on-air role? Also, hes definitely more switched on than the average SEN host and knows a fair but, but does he know his US sport well? Good luck Rob.

He probably meant to say Wayne Carey and Wayne Schwass are good friends from there North Melbourne football days together when they were captain and vice captain before Denis Pagan moved Wayne Schwass on at the end of 1997 for his suspension during the finals, funny how Denis kept Glenn Archer who was also suspended, may be this should discussed on the North Baord

One day last semester I was listening online while at uni and sent in a text and then about 5mins later got a call asking did I want to go on air and talk about whatever it was I sent in.

Are SEN 1116 really struggling to get people to call in expect for when there is a frebbie on the quiz on offer. Maybe those ratings that were out last week were false ones. ????

Yeah it happened to me, I think more so with Doran as he likes to manipulate the discussion to suit him. They also cut you off as you talk so even though you may not have finished as far as the presenter(doran) is concerned you have.
