yesterday morn on the morning glory they were talking about legends of the game being interviewed on "On the rise". the 3 stooges mused over who would do a good interview with a star of the game. I think Tim said Dermott, and billy said no to that idea. when asked why by tim, bill replied "he would turn it around" (i.e. dermott would make the question about himself).

Does anyone else think that derm does this?

When he used to write for The Age about 10 years ago I remember he wrote an article about James Hird and someone pointed out the number of times the word "I" was mentioned.

Yes the famous article Dermie, he had somethink like 80 odd I, me and myself in the article, Sam Newman made sure everybody knew about it when he highlight it on the footy show with a blow article on the article.

Mark Doran interviewed the Vic Sports Minister today... it is shocking how he puts his personal political views out there.

I don't want to start a political debate on here, but bloody hell, have some class, not everyone shares your views.

Sure its OK to hae an opinion and express it, but he's very biased in his reporting.

I must admit I had a chuckle last week listening to Marcus conduct the quiz. Bellerive Oval came up (one of the answers I think) and Mark wasn't sure where it was... "Launceston?" he pondered out loud.
At least he was in the correct state...

SEN shouldn't let him talk about anything except football, Lleyton Hewitt and Roger Federer, cause that's about the extent of his sports knowledge.

Anyone know why BP isnt on the Monday mornings gladiators anymore , it was him and Stoney and now Jaki from the herald sun is on instead ?.
Come on sen give Brett Phillips WSO for good and replace Tony , BP is just so much better.
The other night I wanted to hear how Man City were going in the soccer and all Tony could say was the score of the game that was on the tv he didnt even say the other score because he didnt even think it was on.
Then later he says we can tell you in the cricket england have just won the toss and sent india into bat , five mins later the news says that india made 300 !!!
Tony also said he wants to have the AFL use the little league scores for clubs to decide draft picks and he wasnt joking .
Is he just dumb or lazy or both .
BP has to be the man for wso , come on sen replace tony with BP or mark or luke or matty or anyone else

Brett Phillips wasn't on as he is only on every fortnight.

Somebody mentioned before about the overnight people that come in with the presenters 12-2.
Well SEN management doesn't get them to come on. It is the presenter who does so.
They volunteer so i'd imagine Tony or BP would have to go get them.

If BP doesn't want the Thursday terrors on then they don't have to be.
As they seem to be friends of Tony not BP.

How will SEN cover the finals series, Was that Hutchy that I heard over the weekend calling for SEN 1116, I think it was on Saturday night. Another veternan and good caller in Smokey Dawson was on 3AW on Saturday night too.

I was in the car on Saturday night and it sounded like him, only heard the SEN call for a few minutes and I switched back over to 3AW for a few minutes.

jackie kills tony in footy talk, not hard to do i know but she is pretty good imo

tony is a host and only a host, to even use the term "sporting knowledge" anywhere near his name is plain laughable

he will mumble his way through 6 hours of radio without ever really saying anything interesting

More than likely Barry Michael walked out on SEN for support for his mate in Bruce Eva.

On the Tuesday after Beva sacking all Mark Fine said that Barry Michael and the Boxing show is not on tonight due to Barry Michael working our issues with management, Shame is becuase I was really get involved in the boxing show and loved the segment

They read out a team Harf put together of the rising stars... 22 players, 22 players in a team, that's not really picking a team... and they read it out 3 times, like they had nothing else to talk about.

They also read out the 1993 rising star nominees 3 times... yawn

Well Doran was giving him crap all day for not being a rising star nominee and I think he even read out the other guys in 95 as well as 93... it was all very dreary, albeit good of them to cover the NAB awards.
