i thought this was really poor and below the belt. not quite in the same class but wayne carey copped a belting for talking about a medical disease but billy thinks he's funny. i rang in and got on air and told billy i thought that it was below the belt. all billy could say was "mmmmm" then they cut me off and went to the next caller.
very poor judgement imo and billy continues to disappoint.

both channel 9 personalities mate, if someone like me in melbourne knew then he would have known. if he didn't know then he really is an ignorant moron.
i used to think he was amusing but the more you listen the more the "dumb jock" act becomes boring. i reckon he actually drags the other 2 down with him.

If Brett Phillips was on he would have handled it easily despite the probs.
Tony was lost whilst BP can be the host and the expert and would have got through it so much better.I wish the sen officials would see that BP is better than Tony .

Would have been kinda funny to hear how he handled it.

Great to listen to SEN as it is back online.

So what happened with the terrors last night?

A couple of weeks back they were on about that Brisbane and Sydney making pre-lims...

Brisbane didn't even get in the 8 and Sydney will be struggling to make a pre-lim even though they can do it...

Tony is a great host as most in this thread agree (as do most regarding his poor sporting knowledge having the potential to bring shows down). As long as he keeps up the banter and the social chat without giving his in-depth opinion on sporting issues, the show will flow well. While he doesn't know much at all on pure sporting manners, he does raise valid points on outskirting issues, such as the recent drugs controversy. Tony has his weaknesses which look bad, but the key is to use him to his strengths to create a successful show.

Anyone listen to the Social Club on the weekend. It is bloody awful:thumbsd:. Any word on when Mark Allan and Pickers will be back with their show or are we stuck with the social club?

Allan has little sporting knowledge (well, he knows a fair bit about golf) and sounds stupid at times, but he works well with Pickers. Pickers is very knowledgable and as a team they produced a great show. Didn't hear it all that often, but it was a great show.

The Agitator made that call I think on the Swans-Lions Grand Final - he was wrong and the listeners really let him know about it. Collingwood supporters seem to have it in for him too (must be because he's a mysterious former Essendon personality). The Agitator brings up good discussion points and riles people up which is great, but he doesn't argue successfully enough - he kept repeating the same point on Selwood "imposing himself on a game" better than Pendlebury last night, with no detailed explanation. I wonder if he's even seen both of them play. Still, I like the bloke.

One thing about the Terrors is that they let the Agitator bear the brunt of criticism while they side with the listener and take the easy way out. Maybe it's deliberate, but the Tonys should be thankful their comments are brushed aside because he'd get hammered 10 times worse if anyone took more note of their opinions (obviously Schibeci is worse in this regard).

Thanks for the terros update johnny. Would have been good to listen to the callers get into the Agitator about him calling the grand final wrong.


I love the points the agitator brings up just to cause controversy. He does it will.

It is now my fav WSO panel as the Gladiators have got a bit old now but they are still great! I think i preferred it when it was Peakie and the guy who is on the GBU CREW...is it troy zantuck?

Did anyone see the pic of Rita in the HS yesterday? It looks exactly like this (minus the mike), but on the show today they are trying to claim that it was a model...

Then Rita says that it was a bad photo and didn't capture the moment, but Doran speaks over the top and says, but its not you anyway...

First thing first, great name!:)

Billy gives me the shits. He's just got the two or three things he talks about - its funny the first time but its just annoying now. Everytime he says frothies I just think what a ********.

Is anyone else finding those first two hours of Dorans show on a Friday hard radio to listen too? Rita can't have an opinion without Mark putting Shiite on her, today I was wondering if he was Jealous that she has a Herald/Sun Column and he doesn't.

Also the constant Gambling references on every show is just bloody ridiculous.



The big thing that seems to have been missed was Vlad and Ed this morning.... Vlad made reference to Ed checking the SEN books, insinuating Ed has an interest in SEN. This would make sense as I am noticing more and more Collingwood people are appearing on SEN.

I quite like Casual Friday. Its the only time I find Doran bearable. When he's not running it by himself, he's not so boring. And Harf, Rita and himself have a good chemistry.

Doran's show provides great comfort when suffering insomnia.Never does any research he has no clue on any sport at all. As for Rippa Rita well a columnist for a free newspaper about sums her up.:thumbsd:

He's still on on Sundays and will probably still be the breakshift holiday guy with Cozer, but his 6:30-7:00am slot each weekday has been canned.

yeh i remembered pickers was at aami on friday night so he couldnt of been their in the morning

so it was marko and nick holland, did they do media watch and all that or just the usual take calls etc

I didn't hear the whole show, but it was Marko and Nick Holland and it was the usual show with media watch and lots of calls etc.
