Dutch was in CSI Miami the other night.

Was in SOA season one.

Shane was good value in justified.

I was having a laugh at Juilen his sex scene with he's parnter was hard core.
Almost killed her lol.

I think one of the reasons I loved the Shield is because its been really the first of its type that focused a TV series on corruption.

Yet we are endeared to all the characters.

No other TV show has pulled off this well. Its not a feel good cop show like NYPD Blue or Chicago PD. Its dark, gritty and ugly.

I watched something about the shield a while back.

The makers were saying alot of actors were trying to get on the show.

One of the lastest eps I watched one of dutch case of the cuddle serial killer.
He is in more sitcom's like the adventures of new christine etc.

What I liked best about the show was that the actors that were selected looked genuinely authentic. Almost perfect casting.

Of course they could have selected better looking people but the actors chosen IMO fitted the gritty nature.

Would have preferred if Michael Chiklis was taller to pull off the look of a strong leader better (pay attention next time to the massive sneakers with heels that he has). Aside from that minor insignificant detail, he was perfect.

Commodore 64 graphics but game play was good from memory.

Whatever is said and done, it was Mara that screwed the Strike Team.

A lot of their problems stemmed from her actions (stealing $7k) and her opinions and controlling Shane.

Its a shame that Shane didnt end up with Tulips. In hindsight, he would have still been alive lol.

Shane (Walton Goggins) is good value in everything, I'll watch pretty much anything he does (with the exception of that rom com series last year lol).

The Shield, well say no more
Justified, his dynamic and chemistry with the other lead Timothy Olyphant pretty much was the show
Sons of Anarchy, few awesome eps playing a transvestite
Thought he was great in Tarantino's Hateful 8 as well

If you enjoyed the Shield you should watch Southland. Shows the dark and gritty side of being a detective/Cop in LA a bit like the Wire ( No where near as good at the Wire).

Its well acted and has a lot of actors you would recognise from other shows.

Pointless trivia (mentioned it in this thread previously from memory lol) a bunch of the cast of The Shield showed up in an episode of Lie To Me many years ago. Kind of a mini shield reunion for the actors involved.

I finally stated a re-watch of the series, it's a bit rough looking on a 4K tv!!
I originally watched the series on an old school 34cm tv 11 years ago (lounge room got flooded in, had to camp in my bedroom to watch tv for a while, waiting for the insurance to approve carpet replacement etc). I did a re-watch some time later on a 42" plasma screen.
I've seen the show is available on bluray (although not in Australia) I might invest in it one day.

Season one I liked the 2 bangers put into a shipping container 2 in one out.

And Fauda is very much in the same mould, but Israeli - real quality telly, and equally as unhinged as The Shield and Braquo. You can watch it on Netflix - I’m into S2 and totally hooked.
