Ok, this seems to have enough traction to be worth a go. Tried to spread out the options.

The poll is now live. Only votes in the actual poll will count, not comments already in the thread. Voting is open until Saturday, with Sunday being GAME DAY BITCHES.

Voted for the 1990 game. I went to that game. Unbelievable turnaround and the start of our tradition of being torn a new one by no name forward pockets

Troy Ugle went from villain to hero

Would be happy with any but voted 2013 as it was the first game of footy I went to in Melbourne and the first in about 7 years at that stage. I ended up sitting in a GA section with loads of saints supporters and they absolutely wanted to kill me by the end of the game

1987 looks interesting from a few of the stats.

Malaxos 48 disposals
Lewis 7 Goals
MacNish 29 Disposals 5 Goals
I voted for this one.

Steve Malaxos. Good memories.

He was one of my PE teachers at Hollywood High School for a while. Head PE teacher Bob Ossey created the rev-up statement ‘the e in Hollywood is for effort’ and the PE teachers used it on us regularly and mercilessly. One day Steve’s out front and says, predictably, ‘remember boys, the e in Hollywood is for effort’. Tim Roy pipes up and says ‘but Mr Malaxos, there’s no e in Hollywood...’. Stunned silence for about 5 seconds before Steve says ‘That’s over my head Tim’. It was the last time Steve used that line on us.

Earlier on in his career, in the Claremont days, I was watching a game on TV. Steve had just kicked a goal and the commentators were talking him up. The cameraman zoomed in to find Steve’s right forefinger buried to the second or third knuckle up his right nostril. The commentary died away, but the cameraman hung on for an uncomfortably long time. He must have had something against Steve.

Yeah, good memories.

Eh was hoping they would do this on Fox ... So i can use my Free 12 month Kayo Subscription grrrr

They're pushing FoxLeague stuff really hard. I wonder if AFL and Fox have had a massive blue and now AFL are trying to boost their streaming subscriptions in house?

Fox have given us access to a heap of new channels (assuming one was not already paying for all of them) but I would like some sport even if it's just the goat replays.
