Secondary poll for non Fox folk with nothing to watch? I'd expect Ch7 to be getting on board this as well, though. People are footy starved and they can still make money off the ads

Let’s try it for a week and see what happens. The fox crew might not pick a game we have much interest in reliving.

The 92 GF is on Kayo at the moment too

****ing Ablett dirty campaigner. Can’t believe they let the game continue with Pyke on the ground too

What are the other games?

Freo have the 2010 elimination final for Hawthorn...that's the only other one I checked. Wikipedia tells me Freo won that by 30, so it's not total Vic Bias round, unless you consider the idea that they don't find Freo threatening.

I wonder if all the home teams are winners. It's 2/2 so far and would be the fairest way to do it.

For Saturday it's:

2016 Round 1 Melbourne vs GWS
2007 Round 10 Carlton vs Bulldogs
2013 Round 19 Port vs Adelaide
2003 Round 3 Brisbane vs North

Someone else can figure out who won those.

Dees

North and Brisbane drew

Saints led all game until the last five minutes because surprise, they couldn't kick straight.
I watched the game yesterday. Sammy Mitchell’s first home game for us, Vards too. Both were influential.

We were way too ‘Sam Mitchell conscious’ - kicking to the great man despite him being surrounded by Saints players. It didn’t always work out for us. Probably not surprising.

Shuey was quiet early, but really important in us coming back to win. Yeo was ****ing amazing - super sticky hands, bursting, stepping. One play he was motoring through the guts and I was urging him to keep going past Hickey (playing for the Saints then of course) and Seb Ross (I think); unfortunately he tried to handball over Hickey and the big fella unfurled the gadget arms to block it. Boo.

Barrass was good in his 14th game for us. He played because EMac was injured. Jetts was out too.

Some uncharacteristically shit kicks by some of our better users - Gov, Hurn, even Sammy M. A few of them from kick-ins to give the oppo a shot on goal. They missed most of them.

Journeyman Jonno Giles (yes it was mentioned in commentary) kicked a ripper one touch snap from the goal line. He took a mark but figured it was touched so slammed it on the boot and split the middle just inches from either post. That was my Under Armour team-lifting moment.

Jacko Nelson in his JC era had some really good moments. A couple of bursting runs, good attack on the ball. His disposal was a bit ordinary at times, but I liked his game.

JK kicked 4 despite being well held by Brown; 3 of them in the last term when we roared past the tiring Saints. JD did some good things and some shit things, same with Lecca.

Lots of whipping boys playing for us - Brownlow medalist Matt Priddis; Masten was good but had some comical moments trying to do things he’s not very good at; Wellinghaaaaaa aa aa aaaam; Josh Hill doing typical Josh Hill things - the classic laconic footballer...and lackadaisical too.

The first half was loaded with skill errors from both teams, less so in the second half.

All in all not a bad game to watch when there’s no live footy going on. I’m glad we won, mostly because it gave Richardson the opportunity to show his true, whiney colours with his noise of affirmation call. Tosser.

When does voting close? Gotta love the simplicity of being able to watch the current voting leader this weekend:

Are we pausing for end of quarter breaks aka grab a fresh beer or two?

Voting closes 8:30pm tomorrow. I was going to upload the full game (assuming it’s the EMac game still, may need to get creative otherwise) on YouTube and just slap it in a thread on game day morning, for people to watch at their leisure throughout the day.
