The night that episode aired in Australia for the first time, was the last time i vomited :D. I held off between that episode and the making of Batman Forever

So when did you stop watching?

I played catchup for years, there were a lot of episodes from 98 - early 2000's i did not watch until the mid 2000's (when i bothered to watch the simpsons weekend morning marathons). The last 2 current simpsons things i have seen are 1) the simpsons movie and 2) the season finale that was the 24 parody (season 18 iirc). I did not see any other episode from that season, or a few seasons prior to that.

I think there are about 175 i have not seen.

There is something which has always bugged me in this clip:

So it goes:
  1. Lisa like Nelson;
  2. Milhouse likes Lisa;
  3. Janie likes Milhouse;
  4. Uter likes Milhouse.
Shouldn't 4. be "Uter likes Janie"?

Technically it can be either. Uter could be expressing a "no she doesn't" in a different way, she doesn't like Milhouse, only he likes Milhouse.

It can go both ways, even if there's a more obvious one.

Could be either? So why do the kids assume Janie like Milhouse and not Lisa?

How is that the joke? It is two in sequence and then a third which departs from that sequence. It lacks logic and they still could have used the "nobody likes Milhouse" line.

It's not expected, and just makes the whole scene that extra bit sillier. And then of course, it all wraps up with:

Because the kids are already being smartarses with their "(name) likes (name)", twisting that joke around just makes it funnier for them, and for us.

Doesn't make it funnier for me. Just makes me upset.

So you like the new simpsons, but this joke bugs you out? I would guess that you're the only person in the world to have this combination!

Anyone hungry?

I love this episode haha. All the extra vocabulary Homer picks up is just to amusing to hear coming out of his mouth.
