One of my favourite exchanges of all time.

Principal Skinner: What do you think of the banners?
Superintendent Chalmers: Nothing but transparent toadying.
Principal Skinner: They were the children’s idea. I tried to stop them.
Superintendent Chalmers: It’s always the children’s fault, isn’t it Seymour?
Principal Skinner: Yes, yes it is sir.

Troy: So join America's favourite TV family... and a tiny green space alien named Ozmodiar, that only Homer can see, on Fox this fall. It will be 'out of this world,' right Ozmodiar?
Ozmodiar: Damn straight, Troy my man!
Troy and Ozmodiar [together]: Goodnight, America!

never got that quote please some one explain
I think they key to the quote is Jay Shermans' first quote where he says 'Camus can do but Sartre is Smartre', homer tries to one up him with 'Scooby do can do do but Jimmy Carter is smarter'. Jay Sherman was talking about philosophic rivals Albert Camus and Jean Paul Sartre, homer was making an absurd reference to Scooby Doo and President carter. In the episode patty and selma laugh at Jays remark and say 'how droll', when homer says his quip, no one says anything and a tumbleweed drifts by. In short, homer is dumb.
