Only place a man likes to be walked all over is in the bedroom, and even then that can be risky because you don't want him to feel like less of a man :p

That's the issue. I just want someone to tell me off sometimes....not in a mean way. It's hard to explain.
I've had some shocking relationships, now I just want a man who can make me laugh and will stand up for himself in a respectful way, not in the way I've experienced in the past.

Lol how about you treat him in a respectful way so that he doesn't need to stand up for himself in a respectful way! That could be your problem right there MEB ;)

I didn't mean that I'm disrespectful. I just meant that I end up getting my way because I go for indecisive guys. And there's a difference between that and someone who is abusive.
So I don't think that's my problem.

I don't have a type. All of my exes have been different. Some vastly different in fact. I've found that I tend to meet guys at the wrong time. Well at least the past three relationships anyway. That's surely gotta change sooner rather than later!!

I guarantee that if everyone put their 'type' down on a piece of paper and sealed it in an envelope to open on their wedding day, that in most cases they'll find their significant other varies greatly from what they wanted.

Point being, what we need isn't always that which we desire.

just somebody who has common sense and is not afraid to say your shite stinks like everybody else's

respect is earned after that it is a requirement and if it is tested it better be backed up
you break respect you break the fabric
