I am not aware of the current dating etiquette, given I have been married for over 20 years, but I would surprised if guys would go for more on the first date. As I said long time since I have been single

Yeah there was a connection. I think I'm just used to guys who are a bit more...forward than him, if that makes sense. I don't know. He's either very gentlemanly, which is sweet...or he's just not that into me.

Maybe I didn't word that properly. I meant he's either a gentleman and keen, or he's not being a gentleman he's just not attracted to me. Does that make sense?
