Yeah it flowed easily. Before you ask, he's not a Carlton supporter, he goes for Melbourne.

We had a fair bit in common.
I actually wasn't going to ask. Living in Sydney, it's not something I normally think to ask haha.

Haven't decided. He didn't kiss me and I don't know if that's good or not. He went for the cheek.
Hmmm, no idea if that is a good thing or not. Perhaps the single guys could advise.

I dare say he's probably playing it safe and not wanting to go in for a pash too early.
But i've just come out of a 10 year relationship, so I could be way off.

I am not aware of the current dating etiquette, given I have been married for over 20 years, but I would surprised if guys would go for more on the first date. As I said long time since I have been single

Did you have a connection Mebby?

I've had first dates where the connection has been great and the pash has happened. Other times it hasn't. I guess there's no real etiquette as such. If you're both feeling it then why not :)

Yeah there was a connection. I think I'm just used to guys who are a bit more...forward than him, if that makes sense. I don't know. He's either very gentlemanly, which is sweet...or he's just not that into me.

Couldn't he be a gentlemen and still be into you, are the two mutually exclusive ?
