What sort of things do you enjoy doing?
I must admit, when I was dating a few years ago a lot of men found it a turn-off that I enjoy sport so much. They were more than happy to go to the footy/rugby/cricket/tennis themselves, but didn't want me to have such a passion for it. Needless to say, those fellas didn't last very long.
I've got the right balance in my relationship now, because we can enjoy sport either together or separately and we'll be happy either way...and while I love musical theatre, the opera and ballet, he doesn't...so luckily I've got a girlfriend who is always willing to come along with me!

Mebby yes my love for footy and tennis doesn't go down too well plus I like doing alternative things like fringe plays, alternative movies. I love a lot of local music which most males go yuk. Plus I love just hanging out the beach. What else I love going out to eat. I'm not really into staying home and bbqs.
I get what Bluebelle is saying about missing some guys radar. When I go out with friends and they are talking I am interested in what they are saying and not really looking around for anyone. Friends have told me off on several occasions. I am pretty good fun, love to dance and not overly talkative except when I am drinking cider or rose (but not together).
And I am selling myself yet.

I don't mind going to some shows, just not as many as you do. And as you said, you have Holzy to go out with and play ladies.
I've never understood why some men would see it as a turnoff that you love sport so much. As I said to you months ago, that is a massive tick for me.

I couldn't think about anything worse than to have a nagging missus who is forever telling me to turn the sport off the tv so we can bond watching masterchef and bondi vet.

Even though I have a lot of friends I might try another group called Meet Up which is not technically a dating group but you never know.
Jatz just seems to dislike any sports people I likeSurprised that some men are turned off by women who have an interest in sport.
I would have thought it would be a selling point.

If he claims Walsh > Menz one more time I might just have to

The singles thread in action [emoji6] take note BluellaI'm thinking the exact same thing - but more to expand the friends circle in Perth. Been away too long and need to get me more friends and a find a few different ways of socializing.

[emoji33] a hawks supporter , surely notCan't really understand the whole guys not into women who are into sport thing.
When I was an athlete, I'd always enjoy a woman who was interested in my sport or any sport for that matter.
Even now, it's a great thing to share together(even if she's a Hawks supporter).
You're shocked about the Hawks supporter part?[emoji33] a hawks supporter , surely not
How'd you find time for drinking???
