I was just thinking that myself. After watching that epic clash between Hawthorn and Geelong, I'm ready for bed but even thinking about sleep ("tomorrow is the day!") is giving me butterflies. ARGH.

I'm going to watch the replay of the Geelong/Fremantle QF in bed. Then tomorrow I'm going out for dim sum for a massive lunch followed by some retail therapy. I need new shoes.

Have slept for 9 hours in the last three days.

Know every crack and cobweb in the ceiling of my bedroom from about forty-seven different angles.

Have been waiting for the amped up energy to end and a wall of sleep to come along. Hasn't happened yet, only about 19 hours till the game, hopefully I can stay awake until then.

So, so traumatised by dreams (nightmares) of replays in my mind from games I have been at that we have lost - watching Shauny Mac kick it out on the full here in Canberra, watching Melbourne come back against us, seeing Fitzroy beat us. So much pain I can't quite believe we are in with a chance at a prelim finally...

My cardiologist is on high alert for the rest of the weekend.

I love youse all...
