watched this series over the past week.
even as someone with no knowledge of the subject, i found it pretty fascinating.
the early episodes showing how these totally independent competitive scenes grew out of small geographic locations before morphing into national and then international competitions was interesting from a cultural/sociological perspective.
it was cool how each of the major competitors had their own stories. episode 3 with isai was particularly heartfelt and brilliantly done.
cool music throughout the series too.
