The Starters- NBA TV

Any other fans of "The Starters" out there? Apparently NBA TV aren't renewing the show after 6 seasons. They started out as "The Basketball Jones" in Canada in 2006, before making the move to NBA TV in 2013. It's a shame, because the 30-minute daily show was fastly different to the normal studio programming that NBA TV normally has, being that it came from the fans perspective. The fact that it was uploaded on YouTube as well was fantastic. The twice weekly Drop podcasts were really entertaining and funny too. Seems like a puzzling decision from Turner, looks like they are maybe trying to cut costs, as the show has a solid fan base. Hopefully they continue the show in some form somewhere else next season, as they produce some of the best content in the NBA world.

Fan here - love the podcasts which will likely be their format going forward if someone like the ringer brings them on. Super sad to see them cut loose but they enter free agency with a fair bit of currency (hope they stick together).
