How does someone who has never posted anything other than bulls**t about a club supposedly noone cares about continue to try and be relevant here?
Edit. I mean seriously. Have you even posted about your own club?

Participation grew at small percentage from a very low base - most from girls playing. From memory 2%. I know all the figures.
How does ACT & all across NSW = Western Sydney?ok
2017
Key AFL NSW/ACT participation statistics for 2017:
· 8.2% growth in Club football in NSW/ACT – the highest growth rate in the country
· 78% growth in Female Club football participation
· 30.4% growth in AFL 9’s participation
· 7.3% overall participation growth to 254,812 participants (vs. 237,549 in 2016)
· 9.3% growth in NAB AFL Auskick
2018 (per AFL annual report)
- 278,389 participants across 14 leagues and 260 clubs in New South Wales and the ACT in 2018.
- New South Wales and the ACT experienced 10 per cent growth in community club football, including 73 per cent growth in female club participants and an 8.3 per cent increase in umpires across the state and territory
thus, growth in particpation of 9.25%. I guess you need to perhaps re-examine this memory of yours
Thank you for providing the perfect excuse for yet again posting these figures (originally provided by BringBackTorps with sources) -How does ACT & all across NSW = Western Sydney?
5 years with millions thrown at club & grand total of 8 male teams created. Staggering growth alright.Thank you for providing the perfect excuse for yet again posting these figures (originally provided by BringBackTorps with sources) -
2014 GWS Sydney Zone 10 U12 boys' Comp. teams
2014 nil U12 girls' teams (in fact, no girls' Comp. teams in any age groups)
2019 GWS Sydney Zone 18 U12 boys' Comp. teams
2019 GWS Sydney Zone 11 U13 girls' Comp. teams
So that's an increase from 10 to 29 U12 or U13 teams in the GWS Sydney zone - slightly more than 2%!
Perhaps another topic for your obsession (or paranoia) might be the AFL ratings beating the NRL ratings on FTA in Brisbane last night.

You used a five year period.in under 12s. And your percentages were still out.
Knowing the cherrypicking that goes on - that would be the largest group. You know how many soccer comp's in Western Sydney with about 18 teams? You've gone from nothing to next to nothing. In one age group...in five years
From when the Giants started - so in fact should be since 2012.You used a five year period.
Better than the decline in grassroots League.5 years with millions thrown at club & grand total of 8 male teams created. Staggering growth alright.
I'm counting 26 seperate clubs (that's clubs, not just teams - most clubs have multiple teams) in the list below, covering the GWS Sydney zone (so not counting the Canberra and Riverina clubs). No way was there this many, or anywhere near it, when the Giants started -5 years with millions thrown at club & grand total of 8 male teams created. Staggering growth alright.
How does a team playing out of Homebush, with very little support both live & watching on TV, increase grass roots in Western Sydney?

Every one is entitled to an opinion you might not agree with him but to label a troll is uncalled for some of his points about crowds and growth figures do have some merit
