End of the season. Usually comes down pretty quickly.
Same with most things they plug on their building. The pennants of the SANFL top 5 don't last too long after the Grand Final for example.

Heard a whisper Ludemann moving on too. Fair enough if true. Good player but wasn't getting a regular game. Think he'd get interest elsewhere. Is a bloody good keeper, much better than some of the others in the competition IMO

Better than Dunk and Carey in our squad too. It's an exodus of Adelaide United proportions, but the Strikers didn't manage to win anything first !!!
Cam Bancroft not getting a look in at the Scorchers, might be worth a look. Still think we need 1 specialist bat and 1 specialist bowler from our import spots. Don't worry about this all-rounder stuff.

Then we have to look at decent batsmen who can either be poached or aren't getting games for their sides. Tom Cooper would be one I'd target, not sure of his contract status.
I'm still inclined to think we need an import batsman, but as long as they are good at what they do I don't really care.
Sending Klinger on his way still hurts as a supporter of both the Redbacks and Strikers. He and Ludeman wouldn't be a bad pairing at the top of the order.
I would tend to stay away from anyone who has been in the Redbacks system as they don't perform when it counts. I wouldn't be against an entire team of interstaters. Ironically that could include most of the Redbacks squad anyway
