This thread convinced me to buy Subway tonight, but they were all out of Italian herbs and cheese bread. No joke, decreased the awesomeness of the sub. It wasn't the same

I've had it once. Like the idea of the joint, just the food didn't grab me. The bread was that sweet it almost tasted like a biscuit. I was watching Man vs Food the other night and he went into this sandwhich joint in San Fransisco called Ike's Place. Just looked awesome.

I ordered a footlong Melt (on Italian herbs & cheese) with double meat. Cost me 14 bucks, but it was so, so, so good.
Ike's Place is sick.
Ate there a few times when I was in the States.
Also found that getting 2 dressings can be awesome, ranch and honey mustard is particularly pleasing
Nah normally do the mix on the subway club. Agree on the sweet onion with the teryiaki thoughOn the Teryiaki? I can't say I've tried it with anything other than the sweet onion.
Made an idiot of myself when I kept repeating my order to the girl behind the counter who had NFI what I was on about, until my mate just casually pointed to the menus and said "take a closer look..."
. It's bloody cheap over there though, their premium subs are only about $9NZ, when ours hover around $12AU.Been loving the $7 chicken sub on Italian herbs and cheese w/ tasty cheese, all salads with southwest and sweet onion as the sauces.
Spew scented?Subway stores emit this spew scented aroma.
