While Matty411 seems to the sensible choice for next captain of the Bombers how often do you see the words sensible and Bombers in the one sentence.

I am predicting new co-captains will be put in place at the end of the year with WaynesWorld19 and WFL taking over the reigns and a disgruntled Matty411 requesting a trade to the Dragons.
Dude, that's just not funny

We are all about teamwork. We let the captain rule and if he doesn't agree then lashings be had.

Current Captain: PhenomenalV1 (appointed in S27)

Likely Successor: AceAndy

Another of the league's newest captains, PhenomenalV1 took over after the Dragons' annus horribilis in Season 27, taking on the league's toughest job amid a player exodus and widespread optimism as to the future of the club. His reign, predictably, has largely revolved around integrating a number of rookies into the club and slowly building a culture up after the club was so maligned last season. A recognisable name in the league, Phenom had been earmarked for captaincy a number of seasons ago and was a natural successor to Blaze Storm and Hatchy1992.

However, his output has noticeably fallen in Season 27, lacking his trademark gimmickry, and it would be understandable if that came down to captaining one of the league's quietest and weakest outfits. With half a dozen rookies on the books, it can be difficult to motivate all of them and although the quality of the posting outfit has improved, it would be disheartening to see the Dragons are still being carried by one or two posters week-to-week. I don't expect Phenom to give it away this season, but I would be surprised if he held on past Season 28 as he seems more suited to floating around the league as a personality than leading a side of rookies.

There's not a whole lot of successors within the club, so an import from around the league could be possible. At this point the most likely candidate in the future would have to be star rookie and EKA contender AceAndy, the biggest success story of the Dragons' season so far. A dedicated clubman, Ace has carried the Dragons posting for most of the season with solid and reliable work, and if the Dragons want to keep things in-house should Phenom step down, Ace looms as the best option. Expect Phenom to integrate him into the leadership group if he hasn't already.

I had a chance to preview the Hawks one and this is what I saw...

Current Captain: Agent93

Likely Successor: The Jesus
Not true, Loonerty labelled me as not captain material in my third game and it has stuck unfortunately.

Besides we have recruited Agent93 successor just have to wait until seasons end to announce it

Current Captain: Agent93 (appointed in Season 26)

1556185142987.png

Likely Successor: NaturalDisaster

Agent93's ascension to the Hawks captaincy was one of the more predictable and seamless transitions in Season 26. Having done his apprenticeship under previous captains in The Filth Wizard and Loonerty, Agent took over the top job midway through the year and quickly established a strong leadership group containing The Jesus and The Half Back. He's proven to be a very reliable choice, with the Hawks relatively free of controversy and able to nurture a strong club culture.

Agent does not appear to be a captain that will be leaving his office any time soon, having just taken on the role and proving to be a popular, reliable and successful choice. However he does have the luxury of being able to step aside at any time with the amount of leadership at the club.

I expect it to be a few seasons down the track, but I've gone a bit controversial by identifying NaturalDisaster as a likely successor for A93. He's been their marquee recruit over the off-season after stepping down as Furies captain, and he's one of the more engaged posters in the league. Whatever disillusions he may have picked up captaining the Furies will have eroded in a few season's time and I think he'd love another crack at a captaincy.
