Current Captain: Agent93 (appointed in Season 26)

Likely Successor: NaturalDisaster

Agent93's ascension to the Hawks captaincy was one of the more predictable and seamless transitions in Season 26. Having done his apprenticeship under previous captains in The Filth Wizard and Loonerty, Agent took over the top job midway through the year and quickly established a strong leadership group containing The Jesus and The Half Back. He's proven to be a very reliable choice, with the Hawks relatively free of controversy and able to nurture a strong club culture.

Agent does not appear to be a captain that will be leaving his office any time soon, having just taken on the role and proving to be a popular, reliable and successful choice. However he does have the luxury of being able to step aside at any time with the amount of leadership at the club.

I expect it to be a few seasons down the track, but I've gone a bit controversial by identifying NaturalDisaster as a likely successor for A93. He's been their marquee recruit over the off-season after stepping down as Furies captain, and he's one of the more engaged posters in the league. Whatever disillusions he may have picked up captaining the Furies will have eroded in a few season's time and I think he'd love another crack at a captaincy.

Big calls require big balls
The thread was going so well.

There are at least 3 other big calls you could have made which would have

a. Been more accurate/ more likely

b. Been bigger calls and required more balls

Without there ever being a discussion had, off the top of my head, I would have put por_please_ya or even Drunkgoliath in as smokey's

You've just rehashed an old captain and claimed big ball status, when it's a bit lazy to be honest.

Why would NaturalDisaster go down that path when he's in career best form? And if we were in a position that required an ex-leader to step up again you would think that Loonerty would be the one to fill the void given he gave up the role prematurely last time.

I did consider por_please_ya, I don't think she'd want to shoulder that much organisation. I reckon ND would want a go more than Loonerty.

I doubt it. It will probably go to someone new like The Jesus or Loonerty would take it back.

I liked being captain, but I also like sitting back and enjoying the SFA without any responsibility. Would probably only take it if there was no other options (Which is how I became captain of the Furies).

"Wanting a go" might be part of the selection criteria at some of the weaker clubs mate but we require much more at the Hawks

I have no doubt you could do it but you are much better without the responsibility

What on earth makes you think I'd want captaincy at all? I average under 20 posts a week. That's already more effort than I'm normally used to

Shut up clown.

Of course I know that but I'm giving it to Cadaver and two of my team mates have popped in to contradict me?
