True but as an active participant in the league I get a say in who gets to hold them.

The days of appointing your own successor appear to be over don't you think?
I never said I'd be appointing a successor but if I was a two time admin I reckon I'd have a pretty good idea about how to guide somebody into the hot seat.

So that's a yes for overriding the leagues wishes and appointing a puppet as your successor.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Fighting Furies

Current Captain: TJASTA (appointed in S27)

Likely Successor: Dingster

Another of the league's newest captains, TJASTA took over from the departing NaturalDisaster for this season and has inherited one of the quieter lists in the SFA. Identified as a natural successor in Season 26, he spent a season as vice captain learning the ropes as is one of the club's most recognisable posters. Often seen as lackadaisical or disinterested in match threads, he has nonetheless done a lot of work for the club, rebranding the entire organisation as well as attempting to bring in multiple rookies at once.

The Furies look down on their luck at the moment, with poor on-field results combined with a lack of activity from their list, which is primarily angled towards Richmond supporters. TJASTA is still a new captain, but does appear to have less interest in the league than perhaps in times past. This is one of the less likely changes to happen, purely because there's not a whole lot at the club coming through. This leads me to the successor I've chosen.

As much as I'd like him to come back to the Bears, I'm tipping a bit of a coup with renowned recruiter Dingster coming across from the Wonders to try and restore the club. He'll be the first non-Richmond Furies captain in some time, which will help with their overall rebrand, and his ability to recruit rookies and attract new teammates will be very beneficial to the club. It will also grant Dingster a more difficult challenge than the Wonders or Swamprats.
