In my opinion, it is most likely a matter of motivation as to whether he will play next year.
Jobe has always been a passionate and committed player, who puts his heart and soul into his preparation and his training, not just his game day effort.
If he can feel the same motivation to play that he has in the past, he will play.
But if he is bitter and twisted, not necessarily at the club itself, but at the football world, the commentators and opposition supporters, who booed and are likely to continue to boo him, the AFL/ASADA/WADA/CAS for the injustice of it all, I don't think he will want to play through it.
It is purely a question of whether it all has wrecked his motivation.
And I can say that, if I put myself in his shoes, I would not have the same feeling. Sure, there would be love of his teammates and the club (despite its failings), love of the game itself, pride in his ability and his achievements, and a desire to put it all right, if he could.
But I don't think it would be enough to put the bitterness behind him.
I don't think he will play on with that mindset, and he probably shouldn't, much as I would love him to.
