Little tut for player pages. (It's not little.)
BoshtrichBurger, Gibbsy, Claypigeon, Mobbenfuhrer, PVF, MD, anyone else.
Rich (BB code):
SFA Player Biography - This is the infobox that gets stuck to the right of the page.
{{SFA player biography
| name = (Username, i.e. BoshtrichBurger)
| image = (Upload your avatar to the site if you want, and you can just type the file name in, such as "boshtrichburgeravatar.jpg" - it detects it automatically.)
| caption = (Optional.)
| fullname = (These two aren't too necessary, if you abbreviated your name such as MD then moondog21's cool if you want, or something wacky such as Boshtrich Fantasy name Fantasy name Burger.)
| nickname =
| birth_date = (These four are optional.)
| birth_place =
| death_date =
| death_place =
| originalteam = (Use {} for these using team initials - {WON} = West Coast Wonders, {DEM} = Mount Buller Demons etc. It also macros the links in automatically.
| heightweight = (Optional.)
| position = (Defender, midfielder, forward, ruck, whatever.)
| currentclub = See original team
| guernsey = (Guernsey no.)
| years = (The seasons you've played for, i.e. S15-, S12-S14. Don't need to add season links to these.)
| clubs = (Space them with commas, i.e. {WON}, {DEM}, {BOM}. Macros do the work.)
| games(goals) = (Done as "games (goals)" as the code states.)
| sooyears = (Like the seasons, i.e. Series 8-9, Series 5-.)
| sooteams = (No macros, I believe, so you need to wrap the team name in double square brackets to detect the link - Vic Metro, Vic Country etc.)
| soogames(goals) = See games(goals)
| coachyears = (Don't know if we plan to include these three for captaincy or anything but I highly doubt that. Don't worry.)
| coachclubs =
| coachgames(wins) =
| statsend = (When the Sweet FA stats end, i.e. Season 15, Round 12, Season 14.)
| repstatsend = (Same as above for SoO.)
| coachstatsend = See coach years.
| careerhighlights = (Write these like "award name Sxx" with semi-colons preferably separating awards and commas separating seasons. Award name probably should be wrapped in double square brackets if it's a league-wide award such as a Mobbs Medal or All-SFA.)
}}
Intro - describe yourself as a player.
Do it in the style of username (those are triple apostrophes, it's for bold text) is a player for the team abbrevation in the SFA, plus whatever else you want to summarise. The following is mine:
Eth is a player for the DEM in the SFA, where he currently serves as their captain and has done so since the end of Season 15. He is a one-time best and fairest winner for the Demons and a Mobbenfuhrer Medallist*.
*that allows for any text to link to a page in the format text - I allowed Mobbenfuhrer Medallist to link to Mobbenfuhrer Medal because, well, I could
__TOC__
Keep this, it's the code for the quick menu. Just allows for simple access.
Info - quite simple, your biography, stats, awards, everything in depth.
Wrap the title in double equals signs - this is for the largest header sign. Any following header with three equals signs will act as a sub-header to the previous header. You shouldn't need to ever use a sub-sub-header or further than that, but if you do, the same principle applies.
For a somewhat experienced player with a complete wiki, it'd end up looking like this:
==Career== (The seasons can be combined if you wish to depict a storyline or path or time with a team.)
Season 13
Season 14
Season 15
==Statistics== (Yet to settle on a format for these, I wouldn't bother.)
==Awards== (Sub-headers aren't a necessity if you, well, don't have many.)
Best and fairest
EKA Medal
(whatever else)
References
reflist
The reflist is for any reference or note you want to add, which you can place anywhere throughout any page, directly following the text you're adding it to, in this format:

For example, I have this from the Mount Buller wiki, which is a brief All-SFA description with a reference that links to Mobbs' All-SFA page on BigFooty:
The Demons have had 17 players achieve selection in the Sweet FA's All-SFA team, and 23 selections overall.
Enjoy it, BB, and anyone else.
