How do you use the talk functions? Everything I ever try to put on a "talk" page seems to be immediately lost. I need the front page of the wiki to have Dragons (2nd coming) and Souther Sharks added to the Former Clubs section, maybe someone can help with that?

Also how do I add pictures? Want to include former club logos.

Zac its pretty much find a page with not enough data, hit edit button, type better shit in, click publish. More complicated stuff will come with practice. it keeps complete records of what was there before you edited so if you muck something up you cans ee what to revert to. Pretty much made for covering our butts for when we **** up.

We can - add your links in <ref> tags next to where you want to cite something Mobbs. And then make a section at the bottom called "References" and place underneath that heading this - {{reflist}}

Pretty much, Mobbs.

I'll take an example I did - the Demons' founding. It says "Season 01<ref>Founded as Team Pump, changed team name to Mount Buller Demons for Season 03</ref>". Something like that, anyway.

It then looks like "Season 01[1]" with the reference down the bottom.

It's fairly easy stuff once you get the gist of it, and it makes everything look a bit simpler and cleaner.

Is there a way to template that sort of stuff?

Also, We should include the corresponding tables from the Club Awards history.

Sorry about that! I don't really want there to be any subjectiveness on the Wiki though.

Not specifically the page layout, but I have "templates" as such for the Squad layouts and soon the honour roll.

Will do. A question - what is the consensus on the introduction of the current Southern Dragons team to the SFA? Season 05 or Season 08?

I believe it should be Season 08 as it was formed from a merger of the Southern Sharks and the Dragons FFC, as far as I know. Ljp seems to think we were "formed" in Season 05 and carry all the history and accolades from the Dragons FFC side of things, but not the Southern Sharks.

Does this sound very familiar to you? Fitzory-Brisbane?

Like how the AFL seem to think that the Brisbane Lions is a continuation of the Brisbane Bears, but the Fitzroy records stay separate. Imo, all three should be separate and I believe the same for the SFA. Keep the Southern Sharks, Dragons FFC and Southern Dragons records separate.

Do you agree?

Lj never wanted the merger to occur in the first place and the fact that the Sharks really didn't achieve anything in their one season that they existed it's probably fair enough.

So you're saying we should keep the Southern Dragons' records and Dragons FFC's records in the same article? I disagree - the Southern Dragons are the product of a merger and a completely different club.

Do you have reference of where Ljp opposed the merger? I'm interested to see.

I haven't got the time to look it up at the moment but it was basically done as 'lol, you two are merged now, have fun' by the admin at the time.

I'm not saying the shouldn't be seperate... just that it's fair enough if they aren't.

I was meaning to add that squad template to the Dees page last night...all done now.

Very nice work, Gibbsy., you'll have to teach us how to make templates so I can chip in.

I didn't "make" it as such, I just copied it from Wikipedia and then edited parts to make it more relevant to the SFA.

I'm still working on making the Southern Dragons page as complete as possible, so it gives everyone else something to work off.

I'd always seen it as "Southern Dragons was formed in Season 08 from the merger of the Dragons and the Sharks." Some research required to evidence that, though.
