Look how sexy Clay's article looks now! Tidied up the SFA player infobox to make it near identical to the AFL one used on Wikipedia - it's only my first draft (will add a couple of SFA specific thing later.... tonight was just about bringing it up to scratch) but I think it should be used as standard across all player pages.

That's cool, though it'd be hard updating the approximately 200 players every year, let alone create pages for past players.

idea is that current players and the community should update things not just a few individuals ;)

It is a work in progress. Once you explain to people how easy it is and we have a framework up that people can copy off, more will be interested :)
 
Nice work WGS. Just dug into the SoO archives to try and find some of my playing history with Country. The new search has some nifty features and seems to be a lot faster, but I'm drawing blank results a fair bit - and the one thing I used all the time "Search Threads Older Than" to look at past results has been omitted. Might have to speak to the big boss Chief about that one.

Also Mobbenfuhrer I'm looking for some clarification on SoO Series'. Do all of them align with a particular season? For instance Series 9 aligns with Season 14 and so on... And if so, do you have a list of these? And perhaps the premiers?

It would just be easier to put, for instance in the stats box "Gibbsy... Vic Country... S12-S14" rather than having "S9" for Series 9 because it can be confused with Season 9. Hope someone gets what I mean here.

Yeah, I understand that. Going with seasons rather than series for SoO is probably more convenient and more easily understood.

From what I can establish:
S14 - Series 9
S13 - Series 8
S12 - Series 7
S11 - Series 6


South Australia were premiers in a SoO GF played on Feb 3 2008.

There is already a Wiki page for State of Origin and winners are set out by season not series. .. http://sweetfa.wikia.com/wiki/State_of_Origin

Edit: So baseed off that:
Series 1 = Season 7
Series 2 = S8
Series 3 & 4 = S9 (two in one season)
5 = S10
6 = S11
7 = S12
8 = S13
9 = S14

(note, missing S14 results on the wiki page because I haven't looked it up yet)

Any update on a change to the way the new BF handles code Mobbenfuhrer?

I'm seeing a heap of (color=red) etc. around and I think it would be a pain in the arse to correct each one individually. Rich code needs to be by default.

Quick scroll through and it looks good. Great work.

Heading off to the footy (go Dees) but I'll go through it afterwards and clean up anything that doesn't look right.
 
Claypigeon I would try and make it so the "vs." all line up centred like they do on the seasons pages.

In fact I have another template lined up that I want to introduce, for matches (it is very similar to Wikipedia).... hope it is as successful as the last template I 'introduced!' Eth Mobbenfuhrer
