The Australian is reporting that Australia currently has half the fuel surplus recommended, with enough to last 43 days out of 90. Should the war escalate into Russian involvement, we'd lose access to crude.

I like Corbyn's take on the situation. We can't moralise with weaponry in the Middle East forever. Why have these strikes been ordered before the UN was scheduled to inspect the area for evidence of chemical weaponry anyway? Why not wait for due process?

You might be right. The United States needs to have its nose bloodied militarily, though. They've had it coming for an AWFULLY long time. The bases east of the Euphrates and the one at Tanf will do for now.
