Kalbarri is very awesome. It has that slightly depressing transient feel though. Like one man could demolish the entire place in a weekend. I think visiting is nice but I wouldn't live there.

As a table fish, I agree. I love seafood but salmon is at the bottom of the list. Not a fan. Herring as well.

I rate a nice feed of Whiting above all else.

But as a good day out fishing, I have this analogy.

Catching Whiting is like sex with the missus when you are trying to to get pregnant. Fun but a bit boring.

Catching Salmon and Herring is like sex with the missus after a night on the turps. WOOHOO !!!!!!!!

Been to more than my fair share. The only interesting thing about Geikie Gorge was the car broke down as a kind of foreshadowing for that scene in Wolf Creek.

Economics doesn't impress me either so I guess we're square (except for the fact that one of us studies the real physical world with tangible science whilst the other studied bullshit systems that humans created so they could control most of the population)

Fish for skippy or silver bream and you get the best of both worlds. My favourite spot is Parry's back beach in Denmark. You can also catch mulloway, shark and the occasional salmon.

I bet there are some crap fishermen itt. Everybody who isn't me, for a start.
