Yep they earn that because corporations can pay that money. Imagine living in a country where there is no mining and see how much an electrician gets paid

The pay for both primary and high school teachers has improved significantly in recent years however most don't do it for the money. They do it for the love of imparting knowledge and life skills onto the electricians, bankers and teachers of the future.

I think you both need to get off your high horse and stop competing against each other.
