A friend showed me a playboy with Sable from the WWF on the cover. He then showed me how to download movie clips on the 56k and hide folders... And well, the rest is history.

I always made sure I deleted my history.

Found Dad's Penthouse stash when I was about 13. The forums were eye-opening. Also remember asking Mum why Daddy's willy was hairy when I was about 5. I wish I had a photo of the look on her face.

Mine was 'Dutch girls must be punished for having big boobs'. Now I know, you don't punish anyone, Dutch or otherwise, for having big boobs.

Never had it.

"The Talk" is over rated. A western education should provide everything an adoloscent needs to know, combined with osmosis from exposure to typical social situations.

Other than a reminder to use/provision of protection, there's not much to be said, only one way to really learn and that's on the job.

My dad took me fishing one day when I was 12, and brought out the old Penthouse (which I had already found anyway). I have no other recollection of the day other than we didn't catch anything, and 'the talk' itself was fairly brief.

It was a bit of a waste of time since for my entire teenage years I was an anti-social recluse with no ability whatsoever to talk to girls.

Yeah, a little while after my girlfriend and I started banging, my Mum pretty much gave me that talk. Went something like;
"So are you and her sexually active?"
"Yep."
"You taking all the right precautions?"
"Yep. We're safe."
"Ok. Good."

Good talk Mum.

When i started going out with my first real girlfriend at 17/18, mum just said a line to me about babies being not a good idea. That was all.

More awkward was a conversation with my girlfriend's mother, not about the whole 'you don't make my daughter pregnant' thing but a completely story all together.

The story starts a November 2011, when at schoolies and the red frogs were giving away packets and packets of condoms. Happened to be walking past, got shoved a heap of them from people who couldn't be ****ed working anymore and wanted them all gone, and chucked them in my bag. My girlfriend had the rod, so no condom needed through our relationship, so a year later they were still in my bag.

Anyway, my girlfriend and i were set to travel to Thailand for a couple of weeks, with my sister travelling to Egypt a few days before we left. Anyway, get a text on the day they're leaving from my mum, saying 'your sister's bag hadn't been aired for a while and stank when she went to pack it, but i found yours and gave it to her to use instead. dad's cleaned hers so you can take that with you to Thailand.' Anyway, get home, open my bedside table and all the condoms are in there. Not entirely awkward but not the best thing you want your mother finding.

Was telling this story to my girlfriend when her mum walks in, asks what we're talking about, i told her the story and she went on this massive rant about how i should be open about this, and it should not be awkward at all, bla bla bla. Saying that her and my girlfriend's relationship is great and they can talk about anything sexual, going on and on about how her and my girlfriend could talk about anything and telling me that we can talk if i want. Lesson learnt, never bring up anything slightly sexually related with a partner's parent...

Her mum wants the D

My father's advice to me, when I was just a little short of 16, was "son, don't think with your dick".

Considering I had a girlfriend of a couple of months duration at that point, it's needless to say he was a little late coming to the party.

Had a similar thing. Came back from a Uni weekend away with a condom in my pants that had been thrust in there. Next I looked, it was on my desk with the rest of my gear from camp.

I wish my dad had of given me that advice.

Would have gotten me out of so much trouble over the years.

Yeah it was. Better than the talk she got from her mum.
"Just don't get pregnant."
For context, her mum had her first child at 16.
Haha

I can picture it now.

"Just don't get pregnant. Make sure he pulls out, okay?"

The only advice I remember my mum ever giving me was that if a guy isn't prepared to be your first, he doesn't deserve to be your second..or it might have just been he doesn't deserve you full stop, something like that. It's as if she knew that would be the only boy interaction I'd get
