I know what I'm having for dinner and it ain't Chicken Parma.
It's my own personal favourite... Spaghetti Bolognaise.
The difference is when I make it I chop up vegies to go in the Meat Sauce.
Tonight I'm chopping up-
Garlic,Onion,Mushroom, Red Capsicum, Zucchini and Broccoli.
Once you brown the mince, chuck in a Jar of Pasta sauce,
then add the diced vegies and simmer about 20 min,
while you cook the Pasta.
Then dish up the Pasta topped with the Bolognaise Sauce and add cheese to taste.
You can vary the ingredients to taylor to your guests, but I've only ever got praise for this.
Seriously YUM!.
Adding vegetables to the Bol is how we get the kids to eat more veggies without realising. Been doing it for years now. Sometimes go a step further and replace the spaghetti altogether with 'vegetti' from a spiraliser.

I guess the correct term should be. 'A potato that has been scalloped and then caked in batter.'

But considering the main thing is the fact it's caked and it's a potato, 'potato cake' is the more accurate description.
I thought about this...LOOKOUT! and the caking is actually the potato itself being mashed or processed together that is caked together then battered.
I've had many arguements on PS4 playing GTA5 or BlackOps about this. I'm Victorian and always called them Potato Cakes.
But after looking at other items that are deep fried realised the South Australian term Fritter is the correct term.
Cakes are usually baked in an Oven, Scallops are usually sliced and covered with a sauce before baking.
But things that are dipped in batter are Frittered with the word derived from Frying, eg Banana Fritter, Pineapple Fritter,
even deep fried Mars Bars that are battered are sold as Mars Bar Fritters.
I'm still gonna call 'em Potato Cakes bc I'm Victorian. It's a facinating subject that gets debated endlessly...

You are really, really high.

A fritter is a combination of things, usually onion, grated potato, flour and egg...personally I like chilli as well, and then moulded and pan fried. Ingredients vary depending on the country. Also in the UK a fritter is basically anything thrown in the deep fryer, poor description by them but not surprising.

A potato cake is a pure piece of potato that has been cut (scalloped) and then caked in batter and then deep fried.

So Brad Hill has been charged with assault from an incident in January. Given he has been charged (not just investigated ala Dusty) I expect nothing less from KB than wanting him sacked from hawforn. Won't happen though, Hawks are protected you know..........

Hasn't the difference in reporting been nothing short of disgraceful. It's appalling what they put Dusty through.

KB won't say anything. If he does, it will be something like: "I can't comment because the matter is before the courts."
But on balance, after what he said about Dusty, KB should be calling for the ritual sacrifice of Hill's first born son.

The proper term for what some heathens north of the border call a potato scallop
If you ask for a "scallop" in a Brisbane fish'n'chip shop, you get a potato cake.
If you want the seafood variety, you have to ask for a "sea scallop". (And they usually don't have any roe on them).
Dim sims are the size of pineapples and deep-fried in armour-plated batter.
And you can get slices of tinned pineapple deep fried.
