Listening to the remastered version with extra tracks of possibly the greatest live album of the 80's

Seeing Talking Heads at Narara Music Festival 1984 was awesome but the prevailing memory was cheap booze and the mud!

The concert was marred by heavy rain and suffered reduced crowd numbers.
Some say it was also due to the large number of overseas acts at what was an all- Australian event the year before.
This was the last of the Narara concerts.

Jesus what a lineup! Saw David Bryne last year - fantastic show - he’s still got it.

Took my daughter to see the new Marvel movie down Coburg drive ins last night, took a couple of beers and scooped up some fish and chips on the way thru.
$19 bucks and she can go in her pj’s, it’s the only way we see movies now.
Really hope they don’t turn it into a bloody new estate now it’s sold.

My elderly mum left her purse at the shopping centre.
A stranger called to say he had found it and would hand it in.
Not everyone in this world is a jackass, thank goodness.
Why not...their was no money in it! I'll just take the reward thank you! giphy.gif

It had keys and seniors card with address.
Anyway, everything worked out fine.
I remember once at the news agency seeing a druggie try to buy lottery tickets worth over $100 in value, using a credit card, but he did not know the PIN.
So he had obviously nicked someone's card.
Either that or he was high. :D
