De Niro, Walken, Cazale (Godfather, Conversation), Streep, Savage.
Directed, and written, by Cimino.
Virus or not, there's nothing of the quality today.
Massive film at the time, little too young to see, remember when it was released.

if you cant say anything nice

The thing with rock music is that all of the basic elemental chords and arrangements have been done.
If they copy it it's plagiarism.
Caught between a rock and a hard place.
The Doors were classically trained musicians, amazing musicianship, the keyboard solo on Fire.
A basic raw song like Fogerty and Bayou couldn't be done now.
It's all done already.

Modern artists don't have to copy songs note for note to display their like of swampy, CCR cajun blues. In the 80s the Gun Club did a song called Run through the jungle. Its a swampy muddle of Creedence & other blues songs. The Scientists' Swampland nice swampy vibe. Currently Benjamin Booker band are interesting. Fogerty uses that many guitars & effects pedals it's almost impossible to copy, (well for a newbie guitar player like me) easy to use as a starting point even his "1 chord" Run trough the Jungle has that much layered over, it becomes a great song.

Question.
If I give 4 week notice to my employer and it's over the Christmas period, does that still count?
