I saw them at Festival Hall in the late 70's, crowd was booing them after The Angels set up the show. Meatloaf did a cartwheel on stage (no mean feet) which got the peeps onside a bit.
Something I didn't know was that AC/DC were involved in creating the Angels, I think it was Bon Scott and Angus Young who were the instigators.
Come to think of it 'The Instigators' is not a bad name for a band.
