FWIW mate, a good mate of mine in Fort Worth swears by Lazarus balms for his joints and back. From what I understand their balm is moderately dosed with THC and other naturally hemp components in a beeswax base. Not sure if you can import it to 1960s Australia but worth a look (or similar).
