I didn't go today but $6*******2 to sit on level 1 is a deadset DISGRACE. No wonder no one wants to go anymore. That's a months subscription to foxfooty, where you can watch 36 games a month.

I did go and will continue to go. But, I can definitely understand why people don't, especially if you're a family.
It's extremely expensive and a membership basically gives you absolutely nothing. I'm and AFL / Richmond member sitting up in the General Admission area on level 3. Not sure why I should be - surely I should have some sort of reward for being a member.
Etihad is a joke, too. I think a lot of people missed out today because of the train service problems from the South / South East.
I actually hate going there. The screens are terrible, the stadium feels very artifical and I don't like the night time setting during the day. Open the roof and you've got a terribly lit stadium, so you cant win.
But yep, overall, serves the AFL right for treating the public like gamblers at a pokies machine.
