Even with our start we are still above the Blues and Crows, equal with the Swans, Pies and 1 game behind Port, North, Freo, and Essendon.
Anyone who says our season is over are idiots.
It's not the results - it's the way we've played that gives most supporters no confidence in short term improvement.

Then those people should also realize that its our effort, not skills that are letting us down. This could change at any time, no reason to write off the whole season.

But, imagine when we start playing the way we know we can! Slow start, fast finish - let the Bombers be April/May premiers again.
It's not our win/loss column it's who we are losing to (8pt games) and how we're playing that's got us looking like we will not be playing finals in 2014

Decided to look up some clubs who made finals after poor starts.

St.Kilda 2011 - 1-1-5 after 7 games. Ended up 6th.
Hawthorn 2010 - Hawks 1-6 after 7 games. Ended up 7th.
Collingwood 2009 - 2-3 after 5 rounds. Ended up 4th.
North 2007 - 0-3 after 3 rounds. Ended up 4th.
Dees 2006- 0-3 after 3 rounds. Ended up 7th.
Sydney 2005 - 2-4 after 6 rounds. Ended up 3rd. (And won the Flag)
Dees 2004 - 0-3 after 3 rounds and then 1-4 after 5. Ended up 5th.
2003 - Port 1-2 finished 1st
Sydney 2-3 finished 5th
Crows 2-3 finished 6th

As you can see its very possible to recover from a bad start to the season.

Fully understand that, sante. But my answer remains the same, we know we can play much, much better & I'm hoping we are flying when it counts & April/May premiers like Essendon are in free fall (or going Cold Turkey).
I also know that it's hard to imagine after Sat, but you "Gotta Have Faith":)
