B: Bell, Ferguson, Nicholson
HB: Ward, Bizzell, Wheatley
C: Rigoni, Moloney, McLean
HF: Yze, Miller, Davey
F: Motlop, Holland, Robertson
FOLL: White, Read, Godfrey
I/C: Brown, Armstrong, C.Johnson, P.Johnson
EMG: Williams, Hunter, Bate

First thought is, OMG Cam Hunter is alive! From the 3rd's to 2nd emergency, at this rate he'll be the next skipper... Seriously I want to see him given one more go because he's a goer & as much as our goer's are slated here (Brown,Godders,Carroll etc...) having a go would be a good start right now. Re-channelling the agression shown towards Riewoldt to the Sherrin could just make for a half decent showing for a while. I can cop us lacking the skill just have a damn crack at this mob!

I'd line up like this if Adelaide lined up as selected

B: Johncock, Rutten, Bassett
F: Davey, Robertson, Holland

HB: Hart, Bock, McLeod
HF: Motlop, Miller, Rigoni

C: Burton, Goodwin, Mattner
C: C.Johnson, Moloney, Yze

HF: Doughty, McGregor, Thompson
HB: Bell, Wheatley, Read

F: Edwards, Welsh, Perrie
B: Ward, Ferguson, Nicholson

FOLL: Hudson, Shirley, Ricciuto
FOLL: White, Armstrong, McLean

I/C: Skipworth, Reilly, Biglands, Hentschel
I/C: Brown, P.Johnson, Godfrey, Bizzell

Armstrong starts & gets plenty of game time, now or never Stevie...

Chris Johnson on Burton, let's see where the kid is at.

Robbo will get their best defender & that's Rutten, over to you Russ...

McLean vs Roo & Moloney vs Goodwin, See C.Johnson.

Yze somewhere near the ball! Get him involved please.

More of the same from Miller, he'd fancy himself against Nathan Bock.

I'd like to see P.J get extended spells in the ruck & up forward.

Try Bizzell & Wheatley in more attacking roles if we're looking vulnerable.

I just want us to try something different basically.

You know you're in strife when he's in the mix. Has only had one senior match at Sandringham after three in the VFL reserves! But he was very good two weeks ago vs Port, and did show that courage that is a trademark of his game.

ND obviously is still thinking finals - otherwise Rigoni and Motlop wouldn't have come in.

It is nice to see Armstrong in the side, finally. Now we can really see if he is any good not that he will stay next year.

Would have liked to have seen Bate in the side and Hunter could have been handy.

Chris Johnson could start forward... but we will struggle against Adelaides onball and forward line dvisions.

Agree with that, I'd like to see more of PJ up forward and Yze on the ball (We don't have a choice). Miller is in alright form and he will need to kick you would think at least 3 and dominate CHF if we have a chance.

Like your thinking BT, we need to try something different. Give some of these young fellas a go is they key - I don't want to see Armstrong, the Johnsons etc. just sitting on the bench all day. Give em a crack, and see what they are made of!

Our backline still looks okay on paper, we might still be missing Rivers and Whelan but with Brown back and a fit Bell down there, we still look okay. Their midfield, however, is liable to smash us to pieces. I hold out some hope, but not much. Our forward line is okay, especially if we can hit Robbo on the lead. I'd like to see us try Miller at FF, but we need him a CHF to get the ball down that far!

I've got the beer ready in the fridge, so I'm prepared for the worst! ;)

Rutten wont go on Robertson - he will take holland unless bock does, Robertson more likely to get basset/torney.

Miller could be taken by Bock depending who takes Holland of course.

Mcleod will take davey, Johncock rigoni

I am looking forward to hudson v White that was a great contest last time.

I would also suggest that Perrie wont be in the pocket for long if at all. !

looking forward to a good game though

Nick Smith must feel robbed.... even Hunter was named ahead of him! ;)

Three things I hope we don't see tomorrow:
Brad Miller in the backline
Armstrong on the bench
Players with their hands on their hips, posing to the crowd.

This is going to be ugly, and not just because the game is in Adelaide.

Perhaps he must start feeling Neale, it works for Heff and Godfrey...
Agree with you mate, i dont see much potential in Godders at all. Heff is fit but also cant seem to find the ball

I'd say you'd be a better judge & agree, Ian Perrie won't stay in the pocket but by matching up as selected I was basically trying to see which opponent we might throw at him. I'd say Nicho will go with Perrie because that's Nicho's best match up on paper. Fergy should get Welsh because Carroll is unavailable...Fergy has some mobility & has the balls to attack, it'll make for an interesting match-up for Welsh.

Holland played the majority of last week in defence, long before Carroll had to leave the ground. Therefore suggesting that Rutten or Bock is destined for him could mean they'll be played as forwards... ;) The only certainty after the sun rising in the east & Adelaide winning is that Robbo will play at Full Forward again this week. He was our ONLY winner last week & capable of the extraordinary, we need bucketloads of that & then some...

I'd day Bassett would be too slow & Torney might struggle with Robbo overhead but we'll know pretty soon I guess.
