I've heard Reynolds not Heff.

Could well be then. A friend thought there was a fair chance of two late chances and assumed essendon had written off Reynolds.Which is a strange thought when he was still an emergency I Know.

Why Renoylds and not Heff.

I was all for giving Renoylds a chance early this year and i think i've seen enough.

Has nothing to offer us in the near future. He's basically a poor mans Medhurst and we know where Medhurst is at.

Yeah, I just think he's one, perhaps 2 talented kids away from being shown the door...wish I could say Id be sorry to see him go, but....theres nothing there from Reynolds.

I'm planning on going to the game tonight.

Can anyone tell me if i can just bowl up and sit anywhere?
Where is the best place to sit at the SCG?
It's not a sell out is it?

I assume you live there, most of us don't. I've never been there mate, sorry.

Should be right to turn up. I dont think they will sell all 42,000 seats. If you get a bus there, just find your nearest entry gate.

You can't rock up and just sit anywhere (a large portion of the ground is set aside for either SCG or Swans members). But there is a decent sized public seating area (on a first come first served basis) under the main scoreboard in the old "Hill" area. Unlikely that you won't be able to get in given the weather conditions.

Be aware that this part of the ground is not under cover and expect to get very wet tonight.

Thanks for the info folks.

I have only lived in Syd for a few years and the last few games have been at Telstra stadium.

By the way, the swans fans are BY FAR the most annoying of any team. They are not the angriest or most obnoxious (I can handle that) but they are the least knowledgeable. I put this down to the vast number of new converts who probably didn't grow up playing AFL and therefore don't understand game situations and umpiring decisions.

They tend to be accountant types who bring their kids cause AFL is more 'family friendly' than thugby league.

Problem with an attitude like that is it is a generalisation. You will probably go to the game tonight, overhear a couple of supporters talking who aren't overly knowledgable, and conclude that your view of Sydney supporters is correct.

The reality is that there are a lot of Sydney supporters who are passionate and knowledgable about the game. There is also a steady inflow of 'newbies' to the game, who don't have family to indoctrinate them in the nuances and take time to learn about it. Some stick around and become long-term football followers, others drift off as quickly as they drifted in. But that is the way when you have a sport that is still very much a minority game in a large city.

Just accept there are those less knowledgable and encourage them, and also realise that there are many who know the game well.
